These are counting as my ship's dampeners for defense modules....
Shouldn't they be considered unique?

They are different from other special modules in that they are built.

Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking because of the 40 prejor tech requirement for each that they would be different than normal defense. Time to sell them since I have passed their ability in defense research. (Wish selling them could recover a part of the cost...)
