I know a lot of people come to the forums, but not everyone does. Aside from that, the "Coming Soon" isn't updated consistently, when a release is coming out isn't stated (at least not in a place that I've ever seen), what is coming in a release (or at least planned) isn't stated ... all of this would be useful information.

Also, the Hallow's Bane event, would be nice to know when things like that start, but alas we just have to wait and guess.


I think a small "ticker bar" should be added to the game. Really simple, just something that gives headlines: Announcements, Updates, Releases, General Information, etc. It should be updated at least weekly if not whenever something new comes up worthy of being there, but something where we could be in game and look and say "Oh! Okay, a new release is coming out, awesome!" or "I want to make this suggestion ... oh wait, it's coming soon!".

It may not make a difference to some people, but personally I think it would be nice to at least know what is planned for the future (and not a case of "We want to do this, so we'll get to it eventually") and when updates are coming out.


Could also make it a link to the forums. I know the "Forum" word is there, but that word, as in the middle as it is, I would think would be easy to miss. It's blue lettering on a blue-containing background.

Something similar is done with the bi-weeklies and could easily be expanded to include shortly-upcoming events.

you mean the Hollow's Bane event hasn't started yet? I spent 5 levels NPC farming for one. Sigh. Then again, I was mostly looking for the Dark Smuggler. Seriously, 20,000 energy, no Dark Smuggler... also no shockfighters. And why are Flamehawks so much more common than all the other commons. Shouldn't they drop something better than a CrimObelisk? Sigh, rant over. Yes, we could use a ticker on the news page.
