This is actually the way i see it. Say an enemy planet is cloaked at 12000 if your total scan buffed is 11500 the planet will not be scanned you will lose your chance of seeing that wonderful planet.
Most people are cloaking their best planets. And this is what i'm hoping i could find. it is not as much as seeing an extra 10 planets but going over the cloak of enemy planets.
Now i do appreciate the
defense that these babies give. but my thiinking is that with the android helmsmen that im getting from artifact draw i would be able to get that + to defense
Cloak... I love cloak, the original purpose of cloak is to hide from enemies that dont have enough scan, but at high decks and ranks i see that most players have a complete set of scanners and its really impossible to hide from anyone who has enough decks to equip everything. even if i choose 4x of the cloak type rays. I would still be short of the maximum scan of fully equipped ship in the game. So unless i turn into a zolazin spy there is no use for getting the cloak.
Now i know a lot of people who will be getting 3 sets of the ray. and although this is a great idea i still consider using the badges for something you will just collect on your cargo a waste. I would rather use these dark badges and build the necessary artfact building on my top 50 or 100 planets. (and that would take a lot of dark badges) (just for the quantum accelarators alone)
but thats the way ii see it and everyone has their own way of playing the game.
