Hey dan we can Raid a base after disabling it, why not let us Hack it one time as well.

I have 15 of them sitting in my cargo hold. They are pretty worthless because of how much damage you have to do to have them give you any decent amount of RP from them.

So what would be this "acceptable" amount seeing as the base doesn't store the RP itself so even being able to hack 100% of the base's holding would be 0. We're not going to get amounts high enough to pay off Dimensional Logistics from a hack

At least 10% would be ok, 15-20% would be acceptable.

how would your reaction be any different?
if he changes it to 10% which is what you're ok with, isn't that a change you would accept? (thus making 10% acceptable)
i think you meant 10% is acceptable, though you'd be very pleased to see 15-20%

personally i agree that 5% is quite low, considering the energy spent to kill 1 shadin envoy PLUS the energy required to get 10K dmg on a base... compared to the 200 RP we receive from the rogue data analyzers and the few hits required to kill them.... maybe if it was scaled by not only our damage but also our research per hour...

maybe something like this

0.1 * √(damage on base * research per hour)

(ok ok i know there will be heavy hitters complaining they'll get much less research from this equation because of the squareroot..... it's just a suggestion though to get other people's creative minds flowing)

At 5%, it feels insulting because the average envoy needs a decent amount of energy and most of the times a contaminant cage, followed by the amount of energy it takes to get even 200 RP value. At level 4 and 5 bases, the energy expenditure is enormous to get decent amount of RP from it. I'm really thinking of finding a level 3 base that is all shields and physicists and farm it for 8 hours. Let the shields recharge, do damage, let them recharge and so on. I would bet the average player would get a lot more RP doing that than they would using this on a lv 4 or 5 base.

If it were 10%, it wouldn't feel insulted because of the reasons mention above. I still think it is a poor amount for the expenditure but it would be at least more inline with what I would expect to get from this kind of artie.

15-20% would be a fair value (what I would consider minimum to make these worth using).

25% would be very pleased.
