So I'm kinda new to Galaxy Legion but thought I could give a few suggestions that may or may not go down well. Let me know what you think, should I speak my mind or shut my mouth? What I was thinking was a Galaxy Wheel for badges and here's how it would work: Red Badge Wheel/ Battle Wheel (Military based wheel) Blue Badge Wheel/ Research Wheel (Research based Wheel) Yellow Badge Wheel/ Raiders Wheel (Artefacts based wheel) Green Badge Wheel/ Terra Wheel (Planet based wheel) You would still get GP as a possible win, as well as 5 rank points but with the addition of a rare NPC battle and various military tech for your ship the cost would be 50 red badges or what ever Dan decides but I would say no more than 150 Reds personally, however if GP was taken out of the equation then it wouldn't lose dan money and could be done for less Reds. Another method would be 3 Battle Wheels each at different costs with better tech for higher costs. The 3 Wheel scenario I see like this: Battle Wheels
COST & REQUIRED RANK: 50 Red Badges Rank 50 POSSIBLE PRIZES: (excluding GP) 2 Rank points, Rare NPC battle, Dominion Cannon MK 2 (or any non mission, non researchable Atk/def Ship mod within reason), 1 X hourly Minerals, 2X hourly Minerals, 3X hourly Mineral, 4X hourly Mineral, 5X hourly Minerals. COST & REQUIRED RANK: 100 Red Badges Rank 100 POSSIBLE PRIZES: (excluding GP) 3 Rank points, Extremely Rare Npc, Dominion Cannon MK 3 (or any non mission, non researchable Atk/def Ship mod within reason), 1X hourly Mineral, 3X hourly Minerals, 5X hourly Minerals, 7X hourly Mineral, 9X hourly Minerals. COST & REQUIRED RANK: 150 Red Badges Rank 150 POSSIBLE PRIZES: (excluding GP) 5 Rank points, alert-able Elite/Rare Npc, Korteth Twin-Blaster (or any non mission, non researchable Atk/def Ship mod within reason), 3X hourly Minerals, 6X hourly Minerals, 8X hourly Minerals, 10X hourly Mineral, 12X hourly Minerals.  Thats the idea for the battle wheel. The Research and Raider wheels have the same resource rewards but the relevant resource for the wheel. The Terra Wheel would be different, instead of resource rewards you would have things like planetary +1 size 1 arts and 1 hour of a random planets resources (for the 50 badge 1 hour for 100 = 3 and 150 = 5). Terraformer Devices on the 100 wheel and Quasi Spacial Expanders on the 150. Each Terra Wheel could have a free planet chance (land on this and you find a planet dependant on which wheel you used) I would have done all badge types as wheels but like I said I'm new and still have A LOT to discover about Galaxy Legion so if you can think of any feel free to add them. Wow, that looks pretty good. It would definately add a bit of fun to the game. The terra wheel is probably gonna get shot down because terraformers and quasis are pretty much Dan's main source of income.

Cheers for the feedback. I thought that may be the case and tried to stay away from GP costing items but had trouble filling in the gaps on the Terra Wheel lol.
Oh and if any of you mega players up there in ranks far unknown to me have any ideas for the wheels I'd like to know what you think would be good rewards for 150 Wheels

+1 to the Badge Wheel idea.
This should definitely get implemented. Once you buy everything you can buy with badges except planetary buildings, you don't have anything else to do with the badges.

yep thanks for mention bro i think one of the problems we both had when discussing the terra wheel was the green badges spent would have to be high enough for the reward so as people wouldn't just take the micky and stop buying the terras and quasis from dan and also to stop everyone running around with crazy stat planets but as my bro said i apreciat seeing more experienced players opinions and ideas as they have way more experience and knowledge on those far off parts of the game but yeah from the moment twisted mentioned this to me i thought higher ranks would probably have more reason for this to exist than lower ranks Veristek wrote: +1 to the Badge Wheel idea.

Definitely a good start for an idea.
But, a couple things I would point out. You went into more depth with the Red badge wheel, so I'll address that mainly.
100 red badges for a "chance" at a Dominion Mk3. You only need another 28 to be guaranteed one from the Battle Market. And Korteth blasters are pretty easy to get if your legion does a fair amount of NPCing. The Weapon award, I believe, should be a new item. Exclusive to the Wheel and GP market that scales according to your rank when you install it. Much like the Radiant Surge Cannon, but weaker. And the "random encounter" isn't much an award if you are, again, in a legion that does a good bit of NPCs. Make it an exclusive and very strong NPC that can ONLY be found with the wheel and doesn't count towards your maximum NPC slots.
50 (for example) Green badges limits who can even try for the wheel. Unless you are VERY good at LOSING planet too, 50 Greens is 200 ranks worth of planet slots you would have to fill with invasions unless you "trade/farm" greens with someone by ping-ponging a planet back and forth (which Dan was trying to cut down by adding the 7 day stipulation for green badges).
All in all, like I said, its a good start. I doubt I would participate personally as badges get progressively harder to claim as you rank higher and higher, and I don't know if the interest would justify the work to include it. But a good start... Keep it up. this is probably one of the better ideas put forth from a "newbie" in quite a while.

New stuff is usually a good thing, especially if it sparks interest in the game. More badges needed = more activity = possibly more GP bought = more money for Dan Besides, coding a new NPC for example shouldn't be very hard to do. Tweak the stats on the NPC template and get a pic for it, really. The hardest part would probably be making it not count towards your slots. And a scaling weapon shouldn't be too hard either since there's already a template for that too (Radiant Surge)

i actually agree with you darth on the dom cannon but as my brother said he didnt want to make it so to many new things had top be put in for the idea also tho i did notice on my last dom cannon purchase they break for ctp it may be a way for higher ranked players to burn red badges if they have excess and get ctp back
i personally love your suggestion of a new item only for the wheel
i also wonder if making a slot or using one of the slots for each type of wheel for holiday prizes during each holiday period i only just thought of this so haven't spoke much to twisted about it came to me when i read the holiday items should be sharable
also we spoke once about this but werent sure how workable it was but i offered the suggestion of every wheel having a larger badge return in one slot than it cost to use the wheel????(again am not sure how open to abuse that would be but would love to know what more experienced players think)

the update sounds cool but i reckon dan would only want the temp affects on the terra wheel due to the loss of gp if he put the perma affects on
