Ships will no longer be required to pay upkeep after 3 days of being inactive. In addition, when ships do not have enough credits to pay for an upkeep, modules will still take damage as before, but the remaining credits will no longer be deducted.
Does this mean after 3 days of not logging in, or three days after becoming inactive (i.e. 1 week, 3 days without logging in)?

want to test it to find out? sounds like it starts 10 days after last time you've logged in, since you're not inactive until 7 days after last time you've logged in

To clarify, this actually should have read: "... after 3 days of being offline". That is, a ship will not pay more than 3 days of upkeep regardless of how long they have been offline. Originally, we considered 7 days, but calculated that 3 days would be the best of both worlds (casual and active players).

Thanks for clarifying, Dan! And thanks a lot for the update. It will save me many billions of credits next spring when I go on a week-long trip and won't have internet access.
