Once again, something needs to be done about the install/uninstall process for ship modules. Currently, it takes me 30 something clicks to uninstall or reinstall my Exotic Pulsers and Ion Pulse Ballistae when I rank up. When I add my other 2 Composite Ray modules, this number will increase slightly more. As more and more modules are created, it is gradually pushing those two items farther into the middle of the list. Composite Rays bumped both back and the Hypercharged Bane Emitters bumped the Ballistae. While I'm not advocating the elimination of all clicking everywhere, this one area... It's really getting excessive and annoying. Several ideas were put forth a while back when this issue came up before. Including (but not limited to): - Renaming them so they stay at the top of the list
- Eliminating the energy draining quality, thereby eliminating the need to uninstall/reinstall every energy refill/rank up
- One click module layouts
- Holding on a module page instead of refreshing to the beginning with every action
Please Dan, can SOMETHING, ANYTHING be done about this? Discuss....

+1000000 i get tired of installing/uninstalling to click many more times and accidentally try to sell a module because of how it resets to the beginning.
I say adjust the coding to where i can get several times to get the right page and when i uninstall the module, the page stays put.

I think one click upgrade to the next level would be good.

Have a sub-tab in the ship page, showing the "status" of energy draining modules, so they're all in 1 section.

i am too low rank to see the problems other than the obvious logical ones with the modules but dan could always implement an almost like module playlist type thing so
eg when ranking or refilling you could click module profile - energy refill
that then sets all your modules the way you would have them when refilling or ranking up dont know how feasible this is but just a thought

I got so tired of doing this that I only uninstall the relays. The weapons I don't remove anymore.
If there was an option to uninstall these energy drainung modules I would defenetly go for it. +1

I say there should be one button to uninstall/install all energy draining weapons and another button to uninstall/install all relays. Uninstalling all these modules prior to leveling and reinstalling afterward really is quite an annoyance. It is especially a nuisance when refilling energy to keep fighting npc's.

I got to the point where I stopped INstalling the energy drain weapons. I haven't even gotten the exotic pulsars. I install and uninstall relays just because they're on the back page, so I just quick click for a second or two and it's there at the end (don't have to count to the page or worry about going past the page, etc).
The Drannik Ballistae I wish I could keep equipped, but the energy drain I feel isn't worth it. Sure, it adds on 320 nonbuff attack from the four of them together, but it also gets rid of what ... 160 energy? I don't remember it's been so long. Even if they only took away 100 energy, I can do a lot more damage with 100 extra energy than I could with 320 attack ... just not enough of an incentive to equip them.
+1 to having at least one of the methods Darth brought up again. +2 actually.

I'm getting annoyed of it to even though I'm still at a low rank. One method I use is to click all the uninstall buttons on one page as fast as possible the page reset, go to next page repeat. For me there always a delay after you click uninstall. The negative is you may accidentally reinstall something you uninstall.

+1 But how about another little box in each section, where you can type the name of the module you want to find, then your not having to click all the time trying to find them.

Or take out the energy drain effects on them. Or a mission chain that lets us do this.
