Can you critically hack a newbie thats below 40% of your rank? I would like to know, so I can try steal #&$# off them, planets and artifacts Ever thought of that?

You can hack anyone if your cloak is better than their scan. The 40% stipulation is only for badges (they must be at least 60% of your rank to get a badge). As for Crit hacks, there is no "trying" for them. They happen or they don't. Every successful hack has a chance of being a crit, they're just rare is all.

ohhh :L I thought critical hacks are more sucessful with better cloak, and that if the reciever has near nothing cloak causes a higher chance of a critical, prove me wrong please I need to know the truth.

No offense netz but it has been thought of before and it's a bit of a douchebag move in my opinion. Way to pick on someone who hasn't yet managed to sort their gameplay out. Kind of like stealing candy from a baby. If I had hard knowledge that you were doing this, I'd return the favour along with the rest of my legion just so you got a taste of your own medicine.

yeah well.. its always a good possibility to pick up the chance to claim someone elses energy cubes, rare artifacts. So its a good move to rendezvous on. I am going to try it

You cant steal someones artifacts.

When raiding you either steal artifact or mining points and when hacking you steal research points and if you get a crit hack you get a planet location. The planet you get from a crit hack is a random planet from the players scanned list and can either be one of their own planets or enemy occ.

Oh and what Jawwa said = +1, if you are caught trying to do this to any of our allied legions, just expect the same in return but from people much higher rank than you or any of your allies.

yeah, I knew that one, thanks for the reminder Reason of me posting hack/raid hehe. Ahh thats fair enough. I'll just gotta make sure I do my job well so the negatives don't add to the positives haha. Ive gotten 3 critical hacks so far, not really a big fan of hacking too. Yeah selfish, unfair act, but it's a game, as long as the option is open to do it, then give it a shot. ( I know some buggas on here, like to challenge people for saying stuff like this, so please don't sway in the aggressive side towards me, I am all humour and fun).

Question: does cloak raise the chance of critical hack? and does workers help the chance of crit raid? I know more workers more sucess in raiding, and the same for cloak.

more cloak has no effect, its a RNG for crit hacks.
