I was thinking that there could be tabs on the Build New Structures screen similar to those in the Planets section. The tabs would allow you to choose to only display buildings of a certain type, such as Mining, Artifact, Research, Combat or Population. That would keep stupid folks like me from accidentally wasting 100 kurenite on a Stellar Converter when they really meant to build a Matroishka Brain.

Too much idiot-proofing already....

I had something typed up, but then realized it would take longer than 30 seconds to read. Thus, I've decided to "idiot-proof" my post:

You're missing the point. The point is to organize the buildings tab so it isn't as cluttered.
Organization isn't 'play the game for me'.

There is a reason it's called "idiot" proofing.

The point is, every time someone either (A) doesn't pay attention or (B) forgets how to read, we get another thread about "this needs reorganized" or "can I have an Are You Sure button."

Have I accidentally built the wrong thing? Yep. On more than one occasion. Did I cry because the interface is "messed up" or "too cluttered" ? No, I said "f*** that's not what I want," hit demolish and built what I wanted. I honestly don't understand why PAYING ATTENTION is such a difficult concept...

So you're basically saying 'suck it up'?
The ship tab is organized
The artifacts tab is organized
Planets are organized

Why? To be easier. I highly doubt you haven't used any of those features. And I highly doubt most people won't use a building organizer feature.

Planet structures seems pretty well organized already. I'd rather scroll till I find what I'm looking for (the way it is now) than to have to click a filter or tab or whatever, then STILL scroll to find what I want....

Aw forget it... Let the idiots take over... Hey Dan! I absolutely need you to put tabs and filters and bells and whistles on the planet structure set-up because I can't be bothered to watch what the hell I'm doing. Back burner that new content stuff.

He was basically saying its not the games' mistake but a mistake by the player that's not paying attension.

I've built artifact building on mining planets but it was my mistake. There's nothing wrong with the system but I was stupid enpough to play while I was so tired to read. I ended up wasting billions of credits on the gane but I don't want to make every one suffer by idiot proofing the game.

If we go that route well only end up making the game to tedious.

You are using the qoute function incorrectly. Even if you change the color you are amaking it appear we wrote those things. Pls use the qoute function properly.

The ship build system for "device" and "defence/shield" is by no means organized....

You build the wrong thing, demolish, rebuild...
Something that MUST come in though is a button that lets you buy the minerals in the planet window.

How about we add 6 more are you sure boxes that you have to click just to make sure you are sure you are sure. Those things take more time then actually demolishing a mistake and rebuilding it.

how about just one more Are you sure that comes up whenever you hit yes to any Are you sure prompt (including itself!!)
