I just went through an auction, and now I have to pay the guy a large amount in Ku. about 9 billion. The thing is no one has that much space in their cargo. And many times he has no more than 200 extra space in his cargo. What we should be able to do is give another person an unlimited amount of credits. That way we can get it done in one shot, instead of wasting a few days to gather the necessary Ku to pay him off. There is always the possibility that someone can come right around and give an offer so huge there is no way you can come close to paying that much.

9 billion credits = 5991 kurenite if you're buying the kurenite (which is only 599.1 empty cargo space) or 7489 kurenite if you're selling the kurenite with a 20% tariff in effect (which is only 748.9 space)
i personally have over 3K empty cargo space... so i can hold over 30K kurenite

so you're looking at roughly either 6K kurenite (600 space) or 7.5K kurenite (750 space)...
First... if you're dealing in quantities that high, usually both you and the other person already has space to hold that kind of dough..
second... if you're complaining about space, how about you deal in CTP instead of kurenite? CTP doesn't take up any space AT ALL and you would only need to give him 600-750 CTP
third... you should already HAVE the money if you're placing a bid... if someone made me wait a few days i'd move on to the next highest bidder
fourth... once the galactic trading center is implemented, i doubt you'll even have time to sit around gathering the necessary funds for a transaction after the amounts are agreed upon... you'll more than likely have to buy what's available to you with the funds you have in hand at that instant (so you might want to start practicing)

My leaders use the base to transfer funds. Deposit a bunch and the person who needs withdraws, avoids the tariffs. You just have to trust they wont empty you entire bases funds and leave you broke and without any base production.

I tried getting loans from the the Base Fund, I even offered to pay double what I took out. And there is no way this can be abused.

it can be abused like that too, someone just has to be dishonest and not return funds.
the only way this can be locked from abusers is to code it so that the ship that gets the loan has it applied in some way like upkeep ( like let them have a week to save funds to allow repayment ) maybe have a late payment cost too, either a credit cost in 1% or 2% increments upto a maximum +10% of the original loan OR ship modules take dmg like for not having upkeep paid.

or make a repo man, force sell modules until debt is paid XD
research ones first.... and if it come down to it, even repo specials
