I know these are one the best CT Lab items, but because they use Grid Consoles is they provide some sort of defense bonus. Possibly +30%?

That fact that they give 6:1 research to space, the grid consoles are worth it to me. It is the space for space BEST research building in the game and doesn't really need any extra effects. That would just make it overpowered.

Overpowered ... if anything, 5%-10%

Based on what I'm bringing in, I could make a data center every couple or few days and still have some grids left over. Add that onto the silver badge artifact that's only 10 silvers (I can get that in two base battles, three max, that's one a day), which gives +20% and you'd have way too much defense.

I believe +10% would be reasonable -if anything at all-, but 5% would be more realistic.
