I already installed 4 of these on my ship, but after calculating, it seems as though they are a waste of space. the stats for these things are: size - 10, hull +60, attack +20 So for 4 of them: size - 40, hull +240, attack +80
I can get Deep Core Neutronium Armor, which is +695 hull, and the size is only 35.
That being said, should I just get rid of the Mylarai Plasma Lances?
let me know what you think.

Personally, if it adds attack, I install it. Hybrid modules in general are weaker and I don't put them in - unless they give attack or energy. Then they go in no matter how cruddy.

Pretty much what Toastar said, but I may be a little less picky on my combo mods. Anything that give attack, energy, defense, hull or shield goes on my ship. My philosophy is if it gives me energy or makes my ship strong in a fight, add it. Scan and cloak mini-mods on the other hand are the first to get uninstalled (but not trashed!) when I want to add a regular mod on my ship.

those are bonus modules; they don't count against your maximum number of researchable ones. If you get rid of those you can't get them back (a mistake I did on a different item). They might not seem good or worth it now but later it all adds up

Don't scrap them, certainly, but if you have better modules you can install for that space then just use the other modules for now. If your weapons are also significantly better then wait to install them until you have all the regular hull and weapons installed that you can.

Anything that's a mission module tends to be more efficient than researched modules. They have higher stats per required deck. So yes they are worth it.

But early in game its good for that size. I definitely saved mine. Coz every hull and attack counts.

Install them if you have enough deck and not enough better stat/deck modules(including researched ones) Install them when you are about to invade a planet, at those time uninstall defence, hull module etc if you need to, because ONLY attack matters on invasion(that and invasion atk but you know what I mean)
Otherwise, considering your tech(the fact that you have deep neut armor, unless you are extremely heavy on hull in term of research), you are probably better off with more researched modules in this case.

You could put them in cargo, but when space is not a problem, it will be a bonus.
