50 cloak is big during the first 50 or so levels. That's about it. For a person who spends most of his PVP doing hacks and only hacks, that percentage boost is a massive boon, particularly considering the increasing abundance of QFTs.

I was in the cloaking thread the other day and was reading about the dark pyramids. Although these artifacts were great at the beggining of the game I believe the +50 bonus needs updating. Simply because 50 is not that much when it comes to cloaking. We need an artifact that gives +percentage so that it will not go obsolete the way you have been giving + percentage to attack and defensive artifacts.

Please dan make the dark pyramids +50 or +15 percent whatever is higher. That way the artifact will never get go out of its usefulness


Although +50 cloak isn't much, dark pyramids still have their use. They are required to make isolation bureaus.

Maybe the question was too vague. For what people need more cloak on their ship ? There are quantum flares in play making everyone hack-able. Do you really need another (useless) 5k+ AP artifact draining your AP pool ?

dark pyrimid = 50cloak
light pyrimid = 50cloak
An effect activated while both are active, that gives a 10% bonus to cloak. just a random idea.

Were not looking for a new artifact. This is to adjust the current use of dark pyramid from a +50 to a +??%. No need to add a new artifact.

I think there SHOULD be a new artifact, Theres only one cloak artifact in the game which you can get out of pulls, maybe:

Sensor Jammer: +150 Cloak or 20%? Maybe from 1000-3500 AP?

Flux Shield: A powerful shield that disrupts enemy scanners, 25% Cloak or maybe 200+? from 3000-4500 AP?

Probably going to -1 to this but it was worth a try :)

Those are actually fairly nice ideas (+1), but not at the expense of lower rates on prisoners, droids, and the other good stuff(-1). Total score = 0.

why not change this thread, and make it into a artifact that does instant dmg? say AP COST: 3000.
That way it uses a #&$# load of AP for a sorta useless artifact, but when stored up to having a lot it might come useful in a war?
- dealing 50dmg a piece. able to use on NPC's or Players. And able to use as in quantities instead of single uses at a time?

Its not about the AP cost. Its the number of artifacts in play. There are currently 60 artifacts counting MSPs (I believe) allowing for a 1:60 chance at any given artifact when you have at least 20k points to draw. Adding more artifacts to the pool decreases the chance of getting one of the good things to 1:61, 1:62, etc.

Off topic, worthless idea (hell it would take 40 to do the same damage I do with 5 energy), and basically why player suggestions rarely get put into the game (derailment)

Guys, Remric started this thread with a good idea that has a clear intent that will benefit everyone if Dan were to implement it. Please STOP suggesting alternate methods and completely different artifacts. You're not fleshing out the seed of an idea, you're diverting attention away from a solid, well reasoned suggestion. As I already said, that is why suggestions rarely get added.

I compltely agree to this. It keeps the original artifact but significantly improves it to become relevant up to the end.
