Remric... its easy to say in your position. there are fewer then what 75 people who are over rank 900. as for the BT... who cares about that?! im talking bout planets....until someone has planetary shields at around 150ish. they have no hope of defending their planets... unless they are online and in a top 25 legion....(unlikely) whats your attack with a crux foci ob and amp on with +7% + 7% for decimators.

its a suggestion that was made to possibly give people who are ranking up a chance to build them selves up before being thrown to the wolves... you still get your new blood. just not as easy a prey why is that such a problem remric? allows players to play with individuals closer to their own bracket in addition if would give higher ranks more people to focus on as there wouldnt be a need for the 60% of a persons level for badges restriction.

P.S the thought or even mention that MW3 is complicated is comical... that game is simple. spawn shot die repeat.

If its planets your talking about then I have an easy answer.

Did you know that there are 2.27 million in this galaxy. For every click of the scan button you have 1 : 2.27million chance of finding a planet occupied by someone else.

I recently did a scan and found 2 terra that's 0 player scanned. Meaning meaning your planets are pretty safe if they don't get found. I have about 90 planets that I flux probe one in a while to check if someone scanned them. Most of these planets are not cloaked and surprisingly only 2 or 3 of those planets are found once in a while. There are planets in my list that have stayed hidden for more than a year now.

I know my answer was easy but its long.

1 in 2.27million chance of finding one specific planet (before cloak roll is applied)

havent posted in this thread yet, but, have been thinking about it for a while as this has been suggested before..

well at first i was against it just because..
then for it because of the same reasons any other was for it. sure it would be nice but it is a bit selfish to have this implemented
but, i end up against this idea exactly for the reasons everybody is saying no to it. LOGIC & REASON..

1 : 2,272,362 Chance that your planet will be found (before cloak roll is applied)

Thats 0.000044% chance that your planet will be found... That's almost astronomical chance that a planet that you own will be found.

According to

Code:
http://www.appdata.com/apps/facebook/127300773894-galaxy-legion

Galaxy Legion has 20,000 DAILY AVERAGE PLAYERS maybe these 20K+ users scan blitz every 1 - 2 months.

I don't know how other people scan but I usually wait until I have 400 purgers. to get 400 purgers it takes me about a month or 2 depending on my luck.

But still 0.000044% chance of being scanned.

I have a planet that I fluxed long long time ago and until now has not been scanned by someone else. 0 Cloak.

well.... after about 65535 successful scans, there's roughly a 1 in 35 chance the planet has come up on someone's list

20k users scan blitzing once every 2 months... let's say on average they get about 100 new planets

that's 2,000,000 successful scans (not counting all the successful ones that were shrouded w/ more cloak than the scanner could penetrate).... in 2 months

that's 100,000 every 3 days... 33,333 every day, 66,666 every 2 days...

so every 2 days there's a 1 in 35 chance of someone finding one specific planet
(actually greater cuz i tossed out cloaked planets in the count and figured it on a blitz by everyone every 2 months)

Ok if you want to play a numbers game... Im willing to go out on a limb and say that the majority of planets owned in this game are owned by players in the 1-350 range. and of that lets say that 175 and up have OB barriers (and even that i think is a stretch i know alot of people who dont have OBs and use planetary's) so now its not 1/2,227,000 chance its more like a 1 /20 chance to find a planet that is owned by someone who has no hope of defending it from someone like yourself. and then lets say of those planets found only 1 in let say 50 is any good so now its a matter of 1/1000 planet (again i think this is even a stretch in your favor) that means for those rank 900s who we are discussing they only find 1 good planet outta 1000.

i know some 900+s who only purge and scan and auto level doing it so thats what they do all day. i dont think its as rare as you wish to make it seem. maybe im mistaken. if i had the numbers i would do all the math and i can promise you 1/2.27 million isnt accurate. unless your searching for a SPECIFIC PERSONS planets.

The reason why this server is still alive after almost 2 years is because even if old players quit the new players are still added to this server. We can take their planet and the game keeps growing. If there are mutiple servers new players will not come in and old servers will just die and ppl will be less inclined to invest real money if they are not sure that their investment will stay for the long haul.

The way this game is set up dan can just add new planets and everyone contributing to a single server. Unlike other games that a player needs a slot to occupy. This game can accommodate lots of playes sine we don't need a map.

As new players come in dan just adds new planets. Old players planet also get recycled. Finding a planet with x 15 is a posibility. And with the current set up that dan has its very easy to take an inactive players planet.

players would still be recycled with more then one server as i suggested. they would rank up and earn better legions. it would also give legions more base appropriate combat.
