Hello. I just started this game, and think it has potential. I have a few questions that I cannot find in the Wiki or here in the Forums, and was hoping someone can answer...
1. When people kill me, can they take things off my ship? (artifacts, minerals, etc?)
2. In the missions, is it smarter to spread them all out, or just keep raising up in the tiers? I don't want to miss anything that may be important later.
Thanks in advance!

1. Yes when people disable you they can raid your ship which steal artifact points from you OR they can hack you (can be either disabled or not to be hacked/perform hacks) which steals your research points.

Thanks for the quick reply. So I guess for a while I will make myself as unappealing as possible!

when you are killed you can be raided but they only get mineral or artifact points not the items from your ship you can be hacked at anytime for research points
missions can be done anyway you like but there are some that give items when completed that can be helpful in the beginning

Artifact points meaning the accumulated # from the planets I have? That's fine, it'll keep going up I figure. At what point do you all recommend starting to kill other ships, and maybe raiding? I am focusing on energy, ship size, and cargo room atm, at rank 25 now.

Don't waste rank points on cargo, and start killing ships ASAP, it only gets tougher to do as the ships get stronger.

I agree, PvP is the easiest at the lower ranks. I started Pre-badges so i have had to regain them now, where it is harder.

Ya killing ships at a small rank is the best time to do so. It is easy (because of lack of traps) and most of the ships you will see on your BT you will be able to see everything on them. So go for the ones that look easy to you. Also just to clear up what raiding is just to be sure you understand. When you raid another you have a chance to take some of the mineral or arti points that the other player has be stocking up in his planet "planet Capacity" which you can see in the trade page. I'm sure if you are rank 25 you know what it is I'm sure. At a low rank I would wait till this gets pretty high but not full. If you wait till it full you will loss the extra points that the planets are gathering untill you empty them. This is most important with your arti production. The mining and research I would empty on the hour if possible. I'm sorry if you all ready knew most of this but still good info to know at low ranks and just thought I would say it just in case. lol

Ok, sounds like I'll start killing ships along with the missions... I have been building up arti points until 1000 or so before I cash them in, seems the smartest way of going about it. I also have been doing the mineral one as soon as I am able, for the lowest mineral type (forget name) to use in missions. Thanks for the great feedback everyone!
