 {ui} Adjustments to Attacking HUD

HI

I am quiet new to this game, loving it. One of my problems is when you attack that you cannot see all of your ships details. I made few adjustment and options. Tell me what you think, nothing is perfect.

Before attack (Can see you ship hud in background): http://imgur.com/a/ASZ2k

After attack: Cannot see your ship hud, only text based your shield or hull

Option 1: Same layout as game ( reduces coding for devs). Everything in attack popup-box shifts right. Box is bit bigger. Text of your ship and theirs is left align in colums. Better indicating which is which

Option 2: Wider and higher box. Box is all way to top of screen. HUD is at bottom. Left align text again. Neater. You will also notice another feature here. Can maybe put additional info about this ship below his attack. If one of your legion members scan probed him, can show his attack, thus you wont have to scan again.

I would say if anything maybe just use the energy for that coz it tells u how much shield then hull u have left,but since u can't exactly see your energy that is the only one i can see being put in the attack tab.

EDIT: Oh and i like the idea +1.

Asked for before and still a good idea. Easiest fix would probably be to just slide the attack pane down just a little so the after-action box doesn't obscure the energy bar. Still get a +1 from me.

Aah that a pity if already suggested and the developer hasn't done anything. Probably more important things to address to, but still. Would be better user experience if implemented.


Anhow thanx for all the suggestions. I agree with Darth Flagitious, which would be by far the easiest to implement. A simple css alteration of margin-top for the battlewindow should fix it. It would seem as if the attack popup window is relative to the battle window.

Darth Flagitious: Increase margin at top, displaying HUD

Zargor: Just adding energy, i presumed text ( would be easiest )

BinaryMan : Increase margin at top, also removing blacked-out background. You will see i only blacked out the part below the navigation, else the battle window does fade away a bit. This would be difficult as i assume the developer uses the same code for the window/blacked background on other parts of the game. Thus he will have to put in a exception for battles. As for not blacking out the whole background would also be problematic, depends on his code structures/css .

these weren't around when I was a boy =/ ahh well, can one of you guys please go to the Wiki and update it with teh ship images for me? I have no way of knowing what is new and hot in the lower-ranks anymore =/

PS: Awesome Idea, somethign I have thought about off and on for ages but "Gotten Used to" to the point where I just don't care and know how to manage. I prefer option 1.
