As far as I currently understand it you can aquire the higher lvl minerals such as dysillion and kurenite with more regularity the higher in rank you are.

At what rank might I start to see these minerals in my shipments? The cost for me to build alot of the new items i'm researching has left me with little money and I have never recieved any mineral higher then 1 Pawlicite from a shipment, thus my income is increadably low, much to low to keep up with my researched components.

It's hard to say because I don't think there's a hard-cut for the shipment, except aidonium (160 rank). When I was still playing around with Dynites, I sometimes got
0 pawlacite, 0 dieterion, 1 dysillion, 0 kurenite
0 pawlacite, 2 dieterion, 0 dysillion, 0 kurenite
0 pawlacite, 0 dieterion, 0 dysillion, 1 kurenite
and on.

Thank you, I assumed thier must be a point when you see a noticable improvement as my Legion leader regularly gives Kurenite and dysillion bonuses as a lvl 91, my assumption is he gets these from mineral shipments.

May I ask what rank you were when recieving those types of shipments Sinsa?

I currently have 10 planets 6 are research based 3 Artifact and only 1 mining, but this is down to what I have found, Mining planets seem to be at a premium. I am on the lookout. I also have read in previous threads that the size of the shipment doesnt affect the ratio of the minerals you collect only the rank of your ship. Could anyone confirm this again for me?

The percentage of each mineral shipment that becomes a mineral is based on your rank, randomly determined.

Also, I have a ton of rich-mega rich unoccupied volcanic planets I'll be happy to give you.

Thank you Zophah thats a very generous offer, however is thier anyway to share planet locations without being in the same legion? Even if thier is i'm about 700xp away from being able to colonize an 11th planet. it'll take a short ammount of time before I can rank up to that point.

It's very hard to remember but should be around 80~100. I was getting mostly Erixion, with suddenly 1 kurenite, once. Then, I haven't seen anymore kurenite until I got them regularly.. after 120 i guess. I am in 180s now so It's hard to tell

And for the wiki stuff, I don't believe in it too much and just collect all mineral points.

And for the mining, I colonized several Very Large + Very rich ones. Mega rich minings are very hard to find if you are waiting for them. (But you can make them by toxic purifier (increase mining on toxic planets))

Maybe I didn't test it long enough, but it seemed to me at the time, around rank 125, that the more open space I had in my cargo bay, the better the mineral. While I'm sure its related to rank, my observation was if I only had room for 100 units of mineral shipment, then I would get a descending percentage of the top 3 or 4 (listed) mineral types. With 1000s of space in my cargo, (1000s for minerals, since 10 of say darrynite takes up 1 space) I found that the ratios remained the same but the entire list of minerals gets shipped. At rank 136, I get a minimum of 10 kurenite per click. I get Hundreds of minerals worth to the Erixion level. Then it tapers off. Dieterion and Dysillon around 40 or so.

for me, prior to level 85, high level minerals were scarce. they usually came when i accepted larger shipments, or so it seemed. at/after 85 my income really took off (only 107 now ) i even dropped my smaller mineral planets in favor of the really good artifact ones i found while waiting for research planets to reveal themselves...
just crossed 3 billions credits today until i upgraded the mining to +8 *sigh* should be back up within a cpl days though...

I just claimed ~3000/22000 mineral point (as low as it usually gets)
and got 8 kurenite and 4 aidonium. Sometimes I get 4 kur and 0 aidonium for the same thing.
so it does seem a lot like luck matter.

That's strange, I'm level 93 and I regularly get 0-4 Kurenite every 300 points I turn in.

Ah thank you all for the discussion, from what I can see people are noticing more kurenite once the are around the lvl 80-120 mark. Which means I have a fair way to go, and possibly far too much research when compared to my lvl as my credits just won't keep up

Guess I need to search for some good mining/artifact planets

I got my first random Kurenite at lvl 45. I'm 56 now, and I probably get one every 4K points pulled or so.

well thats odd i got a kurenite at about level 24 or 30.....and now i have to what i think is rich....but everyso often when i have hardly and mineral points(like 1-200 points)i might get a kurenite maby I'm just lucky?
It is still like 1/6000 that i will get a kurenite....but i do seem to get them...I think i have had 4-5 in total......does that mean I'm lucky?
(yet my upkeep is 66K so i do have lots of CR but if i'm not carefull and watch what i buy and what i get back........)

I don't know if your lucky but your definately luckier then me. I have never had a Kurenite although I noticed im getting much more Pawacite and Dieterion and 2 or 3 Dysillion since I hit rank 45. I usually collect 1k mineral shipments sometimes this is worth 80k other times as much as 500k

The magic point is rank 85. When you hit that rank its like night and day from 84 to 85.

I am rank 25, i got one kurenite.
What should i do with it?

Print it and frame it and up on a wall.
