at the very least give us a separate stat that says "Deaths from Non-Players"

What is the advantage in doing it in the first damn place? Let me give you an example. A random asshat disables and do actions against many offline enemies and used up TM 50 times max then disables himself telling them, "HAHA! You cant kill me!" then just collect resources for full day due to busy in RL or something then repeat next day for long time, his total death stays the same for long time no matter if he's heavy in PVP.. Does that sound right? Heck no.. His enemies need satisfaction by killing him back at least.. That is what PVP is supposed to.. i think it just will be as good as make extra stats, ship been raided x times ship been hacked x times it will imply show the same stats and you will not be able to hide behind low disable count and yes i do same, if i get alerted, i just stay disabled but not because i care about my battle rep, i just dont want to spend artis or creds to repair my self, cuz i will still be disabled as soon as i will repair my self and my raids will be zerod, so why spend resources to repair your self? to lose AP's/minerals/RP's from raid/hacks and lose 200m's/nanos on repairs? no thanks

ooh maybe we could have a few more stats too... Time spent disabled after death from players while offline Time spent disabled after death from players and being online Time spent disabled after death from non-players and being online
ok, these would be a bit hard to put a short description to... but... if you're disabled while online, the 2nd or 3rd stat starts counting, depending on what disabled you... if you're disabled while you're offline (could only be a player), the first stat starts counting... and as soon as you come online after that, the 2nd stat will count... in any case, if you're disabled while online or disabled before coming online... once you're online, if you go offline again, the 2nd or 3rd stat continues to count (it's your fault for not repairing your ship while you were online so there must have been some reason for not repairing....)

What's the dominion position on this matter? Being the number 2 legion your input on this is appreciated from us all.

Im very new to the game, but what if you had it so when disabled you had 2x your upkeep?
Or day 1 after being disabled your up keep is 1.2 day 2 it would be 1.5 day 3 2.0
but if the issue is not just being disabled for long times, just short times when they want to be ignore this...

High rank players will find 2x upkeep easy to handle and still use cheap-tactic of being self-disabled anyway.. Also, some players cannot help it to stay disabled for long time due to RL issues such as at work or off on long weekend vacation or something and why should they pay increased upkeep for that? Not their fault. Goal is not to penalize casual players at all.. Adding death count per disable won't penalize casual players while penalizes players who intentionally get their ships disabled to avoid deaths from enemies..

In all honesty, what would that solve though. Odds are, if someone self disables themselves, they probably have a lot of people pissed at them. It'd then be 1 death versus quite a few deaths, unless of course that player heals after he self disables and doesn't kill anyone, it shouldn't affect combat rep that much.

You guys want some cheese with that whine? I did it, because i knew it pissed people off. when in actual reality, its almost impossible to disable someone when they know what they are doing and ONLINE. So please quit calling it PVP. Its not, its far from any kind of PVP i've ever seen, considering 96% of all disables in the game are when people are offline. When someone is disabled, they are at a disadvantage anyway, because they cannot defend against hacks or raids and cannot attack NPCs. Oh and PVP stands for player versus player correct? when i get alerted its more like me against 4 or 5 players. so how is that fair? i Guess dan will have to change the whole battle system now, just to make it one on one. speaking of self disabling i learned it from a few dysonians... HaHa So i'm gonna pull a Noci here and say...Dan if you change anything about this, i will NOT spend another dime on your game. With Love, Lothy

nocifer, you crack me up, all the dynos using halcs and staying disabled, too funny that you are complaining about people selfdisabling, so what, make all deaths deaths and then what? you kill them once and they still stay down for 24 hours lol go back to wasting tax payers money by playing FB games while at work....

I think it's rather cheap-shot method to avoid adding to death count by using self-disable especially for PVP'ers. I never ever self-disable myself at all cuz I don't believe in it and I invite death from any enemies who disable me. My death record reflects actual PVP deaths without self-disable. Your death record is artificially low. Enuf said.. I gave my enemies real satisfaction to kill me. Enemies who self-disable themselves to avoid deaths by enemies are actually cowards.. A simple change will easily make PVP more realistic.. Oh yeah, I would LOVE to see Halcyon traps to be entirely removed so we all can enjoy killing lot of enemies in BT much easier who hates to PVP.. But Halycon is in place to benefit non-PVPers who have no interest in fighting for a while that is fair.. I never used halcyon trap since the change and it is really cool. All serious PVPers can't use halcyons while non-PVPers can that really made Halycon's design much better now than before. I love it.. Don't think that there are any Dysonians who are against this idea of self-disable being count as death while many Dominions don't like this idea is cuz we kill so many of them during our war and they needed self-disable to "protect" themselves from mounting up too many deaths. Nice going there..

gimme a break nocky, we hit many dysonians who have halcs up so nice try, we will start posting pictures on forum so you can then lie and say they are photoshopped like you always do when there is contradicting proof to your ludicrous statements.

Sure... Some Dysonians do have their halcyon traps up as well. I never said that no Dysonians use H. Traps. I merely said that I, myself, don't use H traps.. Read carefully. Some Dysonians HATE PVP period so they want Halycon traps up.. Don't need to post screenshot. If you want, it won't make a point anyway. I merely said above that I like the idea of removal of halcyon trap so we can have fun killing so many more non-PVPers in the BT. They can kill us as well. Be my guest. I don't care either way. Nice thing about Dysonians is that they got large share of PVP'ers (they cannot use H. Traps) vs non-PVPers (who WILL use them). There is NO such thing as big legions 100% of PVPers in game.. It's natural that EVERY legion is using H.. traps..

I support the idea in the fact players like him think his stats mean something when he would be disabled every day if not for the cowardice act of doing it himself lol. And a long time ago before badges came out I did disable my self a time or too until I thought about it and said hey this is wrong and have not done it intentionally since.
