New NPC that been seen by rank 150-500

kill it and get a random Artifact (yes even ship bots and prisoners) that can be aquired via shipment

thats 1 artifact per kill on them.

it doesnt give you a fix on 1 artifact but just everytime you kill one it acts like arti shipment, randomly gives you an artifact

+1 I like the idea of that. Make it common too. Something to counteract the uselessness of all the other commons >.>

Might I also suggest getting dark badges from them as well?
50/50 chance of arti or dark badge.

Perhaps have no "ceiling" on the rank, make it matched, and it starts to appear at rank 150.

Something Like:
Stryll Hydra
The Stryll don't like to leave any "loose ends" when carrying out a job, and the Hydra's job is to clean up afterwards, salvaging whatever it can from the wreckage of their target.
Prioritises Hull and attack as stats.

i gotta be honest, it just occured to me that even if every single person in the game says they like this idea, it wont get put into the game

in that case, i most definitely (do not) like this idea. in fact i think it should definitely (not) get put into the game. everyones play experience will (not) benefit from it. so please (do not) consider this for a future update. :P

but..

what about 2 of them,
1 common, fairly easy to kill, dropping either a common arti "or" 1 dark badge
2 uncommon, more difficult to kill, dropping uncommon artis "and" 1 dark badge

hmm, maybe 3?
elite, rewards up to 3 top hitters, rare arti "and" 1 dark badges
something like that.

as far as i noticed the base idea is only been taken on board so far in a while.

me personally would like this idea put into the game to prove me wrong but i will post more ideas since once i get an idea i post to see what ppl think of it but chances are it wont get put into the game despite lots of ppl like this idea (except Vekno lol)

would welcome MOD advice or view on this game but they dont really comment on these things

to me, this can potentially be the best- or worst- npc in the game. it could be the best because it drops permabuffs as a common. thats amazing. but, it depends on the rate they drop them. i think there like 52 artifacts? so a 6/52 chance is pretty balanced. but, it will cause some players to get many many many permabuffs as they level because they npc alot. while i personally see nothing wrong with this and want it implememnted, i can see where dan might be hesitant to include something that permabuffs a players ship as a common npcs.

Adding a dark badge as a 50% drop would make it a 6/104 chance. Having it "mid strength" would be balanced (5-8 hit kill). Either of those (or both) would make it perfect.

as i said, i really like this idea. i think its pretty cool and would like to get some nice rewards from a decent common for a change instead of these energy sink commons dan seems to add instead of actual content. but again, i'm not sure how he feels about giving us permabuffs from commons...
