You do realize that traps don't always activate within the first couple hits, right? 2. With your stats, a 1 hit K.O. is likely and your traps won't mean a thing. 3. You're never safe, even when you think you are. I apply rule number 3 to you too (: besides I Dont care if I get disabled, I just want to level (: # 1 and 3 apply to everyone.

Cool. If you're in my badge range next week I'll get to kill you.
By leveling so quickly your only putting yourself at a disadvantage in the long run...
Also, for the most XP:Energy you need to NPC, which requires a good ship.

lol fast ranking may be bad for the short term depending on how you do it. I fasted ranked when I first started and as long as you do the scan runs right and do the right research you should be fine. I did have some trouble alone the lines of upkeep at a few points though so you will have to keep an eye on that. As well as keep your planets as close to max as you can. I fasted ranked and fell way behind at one point because I forgot to take more planets. It was really bad and I was an easy target. But if you keep up with your scan runs and keep upgrading your scan and your planet buildings you should be fine.

My new statistics! 2000research/hr With the help of my legion giving me planets. So as I level more they will continue to help me (: To Mojo: Thank you, it is bad fast ranking I believe if you cant fast rank a good 10 or so levels a day for a couple months, if you are consistant then youll be up the latter with the other high ranks, and I may not be stronger then someone my own rank, but at such a high rank you can disable people 40% lower rank then you as someone mentioned before. I am not going to hold back (: To strm avenger, you wont be close to being as strong as me when im THAT level and your level 300. Reason being I will have a much higher output income then you, better mods, more income of crew men and decks from artifact pull, ty. I dont need to repair for mission (:- so no need to buff defenses yet. I will though buff defenses up a lot when my artifact production increases A LOT from having colonized a lot more planets.

2k is good for you rank. now you need to cut down on energy, and add MUCH more hull and attack...and more decks, of course.

If his sole goal is to lvl... his build is working
If he have ANY other aim in life.... this ain't gonna work. Higher rank doesn't really give a lot extra in this game, in this game it's tech and planets that make you strong. And power lvl means low tech Weak ship means low badge and NPC capability so unable to get special modules which makes u weaker still Low tech, weak ship and insufficent scan on scan runs means bad planets
and in the end, this path only lead to a high lvl tin can
If lvl is all u want, it's fine. But, just beware, u can still correct from being a tin can now with ease, but when you are over 200 or even 300, it's gonna be hell. So if you keep walking down this path thinking "I just don't care about combat" you will eventually end up unable to even if you change ur mind. Think carefully now, is lvl really ALL you want?

there is no saying you cant power level once a week or once a month and go up 20 levels or so. But that is AFTER you established good production and a strong ship. I power level every so often for the sake of grinding NPCs for upgrades and things. You keep thinking that just because you get to rank 1000 you automatically get god production to balance out a weakly made ship. Truth is, it gets harder. People hack you more (loss of research and chance at losing the one good planet you have), you get raided by being always disabled and even chain raided (loss of income and artifacts), and repair costs get pretty costly if you are constantly using money to pay to repair since your production is lacking. That in turn will make you broke because you can't afford to buy the bigger better mods or afford their upkeep and eventually you will be left with 4 choices. Resetting, spending GP to build planets cause you cant farm NPCs, quitting the game, praying to god that on planet scan runs you are not only going to find barren crap planets to fill your list. It is possible to level "quickly" while having a strong ship. I am rank 590 and started the game around march/april of the previous year (2011). I have ranked a lot faster than most of my legion mates and I also have a fairly strong ship for my level. So like what everyone else has been telling you, yes it is possible to fast power rank. There is a guy in my legion (binary man) who was rank 1000 or so reset now is rank 1400 with decent things, saw him working on a new strategy to reset and level again and so on. But this guy is playing the game like it is a math problem and uses more calculations and charts and graphs than I think anyone else is really willing to put the effort into making but it is what he enjoys. He also used the planets from before his reset and his cash stock to allow him to grow that fast and have the production to keep up with it.
Bottom line, in this game you have to farm to upgrade planets, you wont scan a very good planet and if you do, it will be heavily defended as most of them are going to be high level player owned. In order to farm you are going to need more than 20 attack. Missions wont give you planets (well they do but you will either have to spend GP or get really lucky farming NPCs which will still fall back to my point). This game is designed to be a grind almost worse than all those MMOs we love to pay 15 bucks a month for. The people who successfully auto ranks and levels up fast have the legion strength and resources to be able to do it. I am sorry but with your screen shot and from the sounds of things, you will only become cannon fodder to a point of frusteration and will want to quit. You should listen to us with this, most of the posters here are those high level ships that will be hunting for you as you climb up. There are also a lot more elitist egotistical biggots as you get higher too that love to make people rage. If you love the game slow down, at this current rate like I said you probably will end up quitting.

I agree with you, but also 1 exception is that she wont be broke cuz of no modules installed and repair costs only depends on upkeep. but will be disabled a lot, I recommend higher cloak in the case. And thanks for joining Galactic explorers

Everyone goes about the game in a different way, if it works for you then good. But like Kharr said, don't think bcuz you'll be a high rank that you'll be invincible.
Also for the love of all that is Rifted, don't do it like a certain rank 955 many of us know. It won't turn out very well.
