So, I'm not so much a fan of the fact that there's no limit on how many legions can attack a single base. It doesn't matter how strong you build it, throw enough ships at a base and it always comes down. I think that there should be a 3-legion limit when it comes to base attacks. Maybe 4 or 5 for level 6 and 7 bases. Thoughts?

limit is 21. 20 BPs + the legion that locked it. It used to be where you could make a bp invite and break it and they were still able to attack, but I reported that and if Dan hasn't fixed it by now then...well no base is safe.

See, that there needs to change. Legion base combat should be able to swing both ways, not turn into a GL block party where the block consists of a thousand different people. It's no longer exciting if you are absolutely certain that you're going to win due to ridiculously superior numbers.

This has been the way its always been, so at some point it was "exciting", whats changed? I dont see any recent patch changes for base combat that will of changed that.

I just think that it should be more about the skill and strength of the ships, and less about how many ships you can throw at a base. That's just my opinion.

Another reason to limit how many people can attack a single base at once.

IMO I think a group of non wallet warrior legions ganging one base holds much more skill and strength then 1 group of wallet warriors taking base down themselfs.

Me too, so long as the group is not 20 non-wallet legions. There needs to be a balance.

I think the reason for that is because the invited legion has to lock the base aswell, so having the bp broken and them not being allowed to attack would waste their lock timer (unless it was reset) which seems likely to be the reason why Dan hasn't done anything about it just the way I see this~

If BP that was canceled still allow attacks, that need to be fixed because I do believe that is a bug conceptually speaking. perhaps should disallow cancelation of BP if a lock is shared to them and was accepted. HOWEVER, if it is just normal ongoing BP relation, then it's perfectly fine. No base is suppoed to be completely safe in the first place, unless i missed the sale where Dan is selling a "base full immuity" for 5000 GP?
Do realise that such a gang up means most of the attackers won't even get anything out of it, so the effort is much bigger than the reward per capita. So unless there is a strong reason, i doubt this would be natural occuring. And to be able to organize something like that.... well, I say they earned it via their efforts.
