I tried searching but haven't found a specific answer, and again I've forgotten the answer to this question and I remember asking someone then forgetting but anyhow...

How does one calculate his personal ship strength exactly? Is it Attack+Def or Attack+Def+scan or is there some sort of mathematical formula involved?

I am under correction but I think ship strength based on attack+defense

there several "strnegth tests" out here but if your looking at the calculations that the leaderboard is basing off of, then I have no clue.
