I think a chat room room for the members comm would be nice but the officer's comm is tolerable the way it is...I would keep it on the legion tab though. My legion has been using mibbit.com to chat on a large scale. Its going pretty smoothly. Then for private message among officers we still use the officers comm.

There are already plenty of free chatroom, however a inbuilt one would save us alot of trouble.

I think the log needs to be broken down into two sections and that every legion comm should be in one of those sections. Maybe a fight log and a notification log. One has all fight notifactions, like traps, artifacts uses on you, debuffs from NPCs and crap like that. The other only has planet notifications, player notifications and legion and personal comms. That way, you can share something and post some explanation. I suppose they could be on different tabs. The fight log could be on the battle tab and the other on the news tab.
That seems quite reasonable. I bet Dan is 3 steps ahead on this. |

Hi Players.
An enhanced Legion Comm is being tested on the GL Test Server based on your feedback. It will function much more like a chat box than a board, and will later support some features that were not possible with the current legion comm. Stay tuned.  |

That looks great. I can't wait to see it! I hope that Legion notifications also show up there. I scroll through the legion chat all the time. It would be nice to have everything in one spot.

Everything will be streamlined for use of the chat interface only. Thus, there will no longer need to be separate tabs to manage or worry about.
Officer chat will be invoked similar to other games: you will type /officer MESSAGE or /o MESSAGE to send a message exclusively to officers or leaders, and it will appear differently. |
