There should be a weekly reward for holding a position in the top 50
but you whould have to hold the position for the hole week or you wouldnt get crap
aslo it would be based on overal scores

This is a bad idea.
Dan should be encouraging new legions not giving special prizes to the best.
It would make the top 50 even more op than they already are (depending on the reward of course) so a -1 off me.

I wasn't saying you mentioned it. I am just saying what would happen. People would complain for hours because the #$*# would ALWAYS get the best stuff. I don't care myself but the waste of forum space from the continuous flamewars just isn't worth something that hundreds of other legions couldn't use.

so your saying for legions who are just starting out or are not in the top 50 should recive benifets so they could try to catch up the the gl world.

Yeah it might help get a few other legions into the top 50 rather than the same people constantly.

That stipulation would potentially screw over the legions that are on the bubble between categories. As most people know, positions in the top 50 change constantly (with exceptions at the very top) based on who has how many attack/defense buffs running and how many are sitting out a KV trap effect.

All in all, the whole thing is a bad idea. You're already recognized for being in the top 50 by being placed on a leaderboard. You already have the benefit of recognizability which new players gravitate to. No additional benefits are necessary and like others have said, would only widen already existing gaps between the top and the almost top. Plus more flames on the Dyso's

What if we posted the top legions in badge divisions. Blues, Yellows, Reds, and greens. It would give every one a fair shot. Maybe a weekly contest on badge collecting as well.

Some legions aren't very pvp based so this doesn't suit a lot of legions.

Well could be a pvp reward a mission reward and a npc reward.

pvp reward say 10 reds each for wining?
Mission reward I'd say 5 purgers?
npc reward each legion member selects a npc they get and can share or the random rare artifact?


I have to agree reward to top legions just wouldn't work.

Maybe the mission/npc/pvp work but divide the missions/npc's/pvp done/killed by the number of members in the legion to even out the odds a bit.

Top 50 Legions don't need a helping hand like that.

I think the Top 50 leaderboards need to be revamped, All the best players are sucked up at the top leaving a HUGE vacuum of space in power. They dont need to get a reward for something that they got lucky on, Positions 45-50 almost change every second. and atm on the strength board between the 28th ranked legion and the 50th there is only 78k strength difference, you put maybe a few decent ranked 1ks in the ranked 50th legion and boom they practically behind that rank 28th. the difference between the the dysonians, and that 50th ranked legion at the time is 1.5 mil strength. the strength board doesnt really show whos the strongest it just shows who has the better stats. I think that a reward for any legion being in the top 50 is not nessicary some of those legions should just be happy they are there. The rank scores and the strength scores dont really determine the actual skill/organization of the legion.

no, because i tear into ships that are alot bigger then me, and ive taken on ships my level and ripped them to shreds and theyve got better stats then me. Also 5 ships can defeat a strong ship, I could take 5 lvl 50s and my self and kill a lvl 1k while he is online.

The top 10 get a module already.
