Is there a way to print out the planets lists??
To include the name, type, size, production in each catogory and artifacts on the planet?

I can imagine a function where at a click of a button it stores all that info as a "copy"(u know, from copy paste) and then you can paste it on a word document and print the word document.

But I've never seen printing of non-visable data so... i dunno if it can be done directly....

In any case, this isn't something I would care about so~ meh.....

dosnt this fall into the whole datamining thing? where youre not technically allowed to keep records regarding planets or something? i remember that roo wrote up a post about how the unknown was doing this and it was wrong or whatever... but i never actually got confirmation on whether or not it was against the rules. anyway, if it IS against the rules, i would say youre not gonna get much luck with the button. but, that dosnt mean you cant use good ol' excell and make up a spreadsheet... i think.

If you want to spend the time it can be done one by one but with over 100 planets it is too time consuming. So some kind of... Print this list button... with a drop down that would add the data u want... would work best.

how could it be against the rules to store planet data?? people sell everything on the forums, every last arti you can think of, if it s not tradeable then they switch legions, alert a planet/whatever, abandon, and so on and so forth.. done it myself in using a gaia seed on a friends terra... I've seen NUMEROUS threads on people selling the locations of player X's planets, and I myself have even made a couple lists in selling planets and listing what they were and which legion owned them...
NOW, do I care to record what the production is from each one.. NO, I've got a good idea what each planet of X size will produce on the average.. also I don't see how it would be beneficial to know what an enemies planet is producing for THEM (and not ME, atleast until i wish to steal it)

A planet list would also let you know the specs of a planet that has been captured and fluxed by another player. The current listing of the name of a planet that has been lost tells you nothing.

so what... have you or anyone else found a way to summon up "X planet" because you knew its name or the owner?? who cares if your an intel gathering person... I've got one of MUADIBS planets on my scans and im not going to forget that ive got one of the higher ranked players planets... does it matter if someone needs to write the info down or if they just remember it with a good memory?

I have suggested several times that it be put into a downloadable format readable by excel and/or open office. when you get into the higher levels and have 200 or more planet slots it becomes difficult to manage all your planets. The flags help, but seeing what all is available and who owns what would be a benefit to many. The highest ranking player is a bit over 2000 which means he has over 500 planet slots. Think about managing that.
