The Continuum Parser is one of the nicest use to deck modules out there. It is a rare drop on level 5 or above bases. However, once you get 4, you are sort of getting screwed every time you get one. Heck, at 8-16 CTP scrap value, the uncommon drop from a level 4 base gives you more CTP.

I am up to Parser #7 at this point and I know others have more than me.

PLEASE, either up the CTP value on these or give them a second use (maybe as a planetary structure or passive use on a planet).

I can understand ur sentiment from the rareness of the item....
But I also feel... it's rather irrlevant due to well... the rareness of the item.
In the very least the CTP change one...

Does say 350 extra CTP per year really make a big difference(assuming it took u ~1 year to get all 7 and each get +50 CTP)?

But then again, fixing CTP value is probably a very easy and simple change... so it's not wasting a lot of effort on well... the tiny amount of benefit the change itself would provide....

Alternative uses aside, this is much more psychological problem than a real issue XD

i spend about 300 energy to get 2-3 badges off of a level 5 base. this means i usually get about a 46% chance for a successful raid. in order to have gotten 7 continuum parsers (i have yet to get 1) you have to be doing ALOT of damage. since the damage cap on a base is much lower than that of a ship, i've seen how much odragon does, and he's spending much more energy than i am (he's usually getting 4 or 5 badges off a level 5 base) i agree that this small amount of ctp should be upped. if he spent the same amount of energy fighting npcs, and believe me, he could... many many many elites are alerted in top 10 legions, he would be getting 3 or 4 times more ctp.

to me, because of the rarity of the item, and the work you have to go through to get them, i would think between 100-250 complex tech parts would be more relevant. as you said, a level 4 base gives 40 ctp as an uncommon drop. bases get harder and harder to disable as they level. therefore the complex tech recieved should be multiplied as well. these are rather rare from level 5s (as i said, i have yet to get 1) but theyre a bit more common from level 6s. hence, the 100-250 complex tech. 40x2=80 (rounded to 100) 80x2-160 (rounded to 250)

haha, make em tradeable! i'd buy em from ya... plus would be a good way for higher level organized legions to make some money in the trade section. just set the minimum rank to equip them at 250.

I finally got a spare a few days ago. I think from our last attack on Funny Farm. Scrapped for 12ctp. I get more techs from the common drop on a level 4 base (many of which I could solo) than the uncommon drop on a level 7. Explain to me how that isn't messed up.

make them tradable ,i have received nine so far and it sucks to scarp something so valuable when you could make bank selling hem
