Just making a better break down of the races. Fill free to comment on anything you think needs to be added.

Sillixx-(+10% decks) This race is considered to be a big trap. It can be good at lower ranks because you get more modules , but the lack of a stat bonus and limit of modules you can have are a big setback long run.

PRO's
-Can use more modules for greater customization.
-Having more mods makes your ship look stronger.
-Sillixx Starport (If your a CCer you may want this for you exotic/dyson)

CON's
-More decks means you take more damage.
-Putting on more/bigger modules cost more. Upkeep and repair.
-There is a limit to the # of decks you will need.
-No % stat bonus.
-Hard to switch from because of deck loss.

Suggested Professions.
-Explorer , for better planet scans and hack defense.
-Fixer , more hull helps you last longer in fights.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Konqul-(+20% attack) When it comes to attacking there a "jack of all trades , master of none". There % stat bonus is lower then the other combat race's , but helps with PvP , NPC , bases , and invading.

PRO's
-Stat bonus helps with PvP , NPC , bases , and invading.

CON's
-It's a lower % bonus then other combat races.

-Excavator , artifact production is key.
-Spy , can make Konqul a real "jack of all trades" by by helping with hacking to.

Drannik-(+40% attack against NPCs) The best NPC hunting race. NPC hunting can be the best way to improve your planets and fast level , as well as get other rare buffs. (Playable after completion of A Pact with the Drannik. This mission is the last in the Drannik Mission chain, which begins with The Drannik Extinction, and becomes available at Rank 185)

PRO's
-Better XP/energy ratio on NPC hunts.
-Greatest attack potential for NPC'ing

CON's
-bonus only works on NPC's.
-Need to be unlocked.

Suggested Professions.
-Fixer , more hull helps you last longer in fights.
-Physicist , with very high shields and a Shield Amplifier some ships have claimed to be able to kill 100's of NPC without having to repair because of shield recharge.(Need 10K shield minimum before Physicist and Shield Amplifier)
-Explorer , for better planet scans and hack defense , can help to find cloaked NPC's with less scan modules.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Genetarr-(lowers NPC attack by 50%. It has a 30 minute cooldown) There for the team (NPC hunting) players out , on big hard hitting NPC's there a big help and there are some strong missions NPC's you can help your self on. It would be nice to have some in every legion. (Playable after completing Seal of the Genetarr mission. This mission is the last in the Genetarr Mission chain , which begins with Stryll Infiltration , and becomes available at Rank 10)

PRO's
-Helpful with the hard hitting boss NPC's.
-There are some strong solo NPC's you can help your self on.

-Needs to be unlocked

Suggested Professions.
-Fixer , more hull helps you last longer in fights.
-Physicist , with very high shields and a Shield Amplifier some ships have claimed to be able to kill 100's of NPC without having to repair because of shield recharge.(Need 10K shield minimum before Physicist and Shield Amplifier)
-Explorer , for better planet scans and hack defense , can help to find cloaked NPC's with less scan modules.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aerlen-(+30% Defense) At lower ranks you can go full defense , hull , and shields and some players may run out of energy or give up if they find you on there BT , at higher ranks your shell wont stop that many.

PRO's
-At low ranks you you can be hard to kill.
-Defense is easier/cost less to get.
-Your bonus helps defend against raids.

CON's
-Defense can be debuffed.
-At high ranks there defense wont stop BT hits.

Suggested Professions.
-Explorer , for better planet scans and hack defense.
-Fixer , more hull helps you last longer in fights.
-Excavator , artifact production is key , but it's at the cost of your shell and that's what this race is about.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lazuli-(+50% hull) Much like the Aerlen there hard to kill , but don't have a debuff to main stat or scaling to deal with. (Playable after completing Lazuli Independence mission. CON's

-Fixer , Makes you even harder to kill.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Human-(+10% to all Experience gains) Only good If you want to rank fast. They get more XP from energy gained over time then Inergo and can rank faster , but Inergo is better if you plan to auto rank , because it lets you get more done for the same ranks.

PRO's
-Fast ranking
-Human Training Barracks. (If your a CCer you can defend you planets better , but you must be rich to want to pay for this , this thing needs some work)

CON's
-No stat bonus at all.
-Because of fast ranking they tend to be weak for there rank.

Suggested Professions.
-Explorer , for better planet scans and hack defense.
-Spy , can help you hide and keep research up , but if your hacking your doing power ranking wrong.

So, Kronyn, Mylarai, Taltherian all permanently increase planet production?

The Sab profession is almost identical to getting a free crimson cluster missile.

I can see how the working can be confusing , I changed it to a more suitable working.

Great post, although I know a few people who would rank Mylarai a little better. Maybe this could get a sticky?

Good write-up, but Inergon is only +10% to max energy, which means they'll get more xp from tri-matrices and energy cubes than Humans, but Humans will get more xp from energy gained over time through relays, so while Inergon gets more done for the same rank, it's not unequivocally the better of the two power ranking races, since one goal of power ranking could be to level faster.

Good point , I was thinking of auto ranking when comparing the 2 , but if you can't auto rank then human would be faster.

Inergon/Human is also a trap, what you want to do is use energy more efficiently. Drannik lets you do that while doing the most efficient activity in the game for ship growth.

Yes Drannik is better for fast/auto ranking in on NPC's , but you do have to unlock it and if there's a good biweekly mission it will slow you down.

Inergon/Human isn't that much of a trap , fast/auto ranking makes you weak for your rank and that's noted above.

With enough arty production the 20% Konqil atk is more then the bonus you need to auto rank and still have nrg left over after NPCing.
