Your ability to be disabled/hacked/raided is only limited by the number of actions you have left. So if you have an action count of 3/5/5, you can be disabled 3 times, hacked 5 times and raided 5 times and thats it.

The question you should ask is, "why?" would this person be hitting you so many times in 16 hours. Did ya disable him, were you maybe alerted over in his legion, did ya take a planet from him or from someone in his legion? OR Is the guy just a complete douchebag in general. Only takes a comm message to find out.

As already mentioned, if you have been "hit" 25 times, then you probably have that many actions to give; which means you have been active yourself.

No, the only ways to increase your actions are by disabling, hacking, raiding other ships or by repeated use of time manipulators. Doing any of those will increase your action counters by 1 each time.

Just to clarify what Kirk is saying... Each time you disable OR raid OR hack someone it raises ALL 3 of your counters by one, not just that particular action. So if you have 3/5/5 and you disable someone, your action count goes to 4/6/6.

First I've heard of invasions going against your action limits... Against your 50 "Offensive Action" limit for TM use, yes, but not the ship's PvP count.

Now I understand what people mean when they talk about "variation from the 3-5-5". I would greatly like to thank the poster of this thread (unfortunately I can't, because I reached the conclusion independently a couple of days ago).

Anyway, thanks for bringing it to the attention of the Beginner's hub :)

Edit: I do have one question, how long do the actions stay raised for? I've been sticking to missions lately and I've noticed them gradually going down even while no-one has been hitting me.

24 hours after you perform an action, that particular action "doesn't count" anymore and all 3 of your counters will decrease by 1. This is how people end up with negative action counts. For example, if you perform a total of 5 actions, you count would be 8/10/10. If someone decides to concentrate on just your hacks and zeroes them, you have 8/10/0. After your 5 actions clear 24 hours after performing them, all 3 counts drop by 5, leaving you with 3/5/-5. Then as those 10 hacks clear, you "resettle" at 3/5/5.

Level means nothing.

Also, last time I looked, punk was a musical style (or an associated dress code, hairstyle, and general appearance). Across the pond it may have been more commonly used to refer to criminals. Either way it's not a swearword (there occurs to me one other word, but it would have required another asterisk, and its offensiveness is context-dependent).

I'm fairly certain successful invade bumps ur action, thou not sure about failed ones.

And as a side note, there is another way to gain negative disables--if u r guarding a planet, they can hit u from the planet(when pop is 10 or lower) no matter what, and that DOES count toward ur actions so u can get negative disables indefintely.
