I know that BinaryMan has done this, I was wondering if anyone else did the same, and if they used GP or not?

If not, how exactly would someone do this? I'm thinking about doing it, but much farther down the road.

Well, I know the autorank part, but I've always been under the impression that doing so at smaller levels is a bad thing to do. Binary did it in 3 months, so there had to be something else as well as autoranks.

I recant of a thread long lost, in it a post about someone ( could have been binaryman ) - or someones - making charts and graphs about the game, it is possible that someone out there has mapped the game out, best xp per level through NPC and missions

Binary did it but he had his best planets transferred through his friends along with all the necessary artis and credits ( if i remember right it was about 1tril credits and 1k NIs + other artis)

He also was getting tons of rp from his base daily so he didnt fall behind on research.

So not everyone can pull this off...without preparation and outside help you will only end up with a paper plane that everyone and their grandmother badge b4 breakfast.

I'm not sure if or how much gp binary used but i think you would have to invest some $$$...especially to get some deck off the bat since pretty much all your rank points will go to engineers to keep 10 energy per rank ratio

Outside help or not, it was still massively impressive. And yes to the earlier poster, missions/ npc xp have been very well mapped out. PM

I only used GP to abandon planets for the transfer. I never paid for refills. I started with lots of good planets and resources and it was much easier, but I am also pro at deck optimization - true I needed to do decks for weapons at key times, but I kept it as low as possible until I had solid autoranking. Only when an attack bump from new weapons would be better than using pts for energy did I do decks. To give you a clue I had 7k AP / 10k RP as soon as I had the slots to take my stuff back. Focused on npcing and KEY high xp or good reward missions, and forget all others. Octafari alone with 65 xp per will auto you for like 60 ranks. early on, but I was getting generators fast and that helps too. The rest is just maths, energy attack and rank. It also helps when legion lets you ride on every elite/boss ;)

Thank you! That was exactly what I needed to know. That's why you're the best!

My question is, how long did it take you to get all those planets the first time? That seems like an awful lot of planets to have to spend GP on to drop, as well as an insanely long time taken to drop them in the first place

Yes Abandon took awhile but I only kept 15x planets I just dropped the rest wasn't worth it. I was playing for over a year before reset... the longer you go the easier it gets I guess as your AP increases and your knowledge.

Taltherian is good for semi-active people. I get more from my 40% drannik boost in terms of terraformer drops than I'd ever get for Talth. I get about 1 terraformer per 1000 npcs (but that should improve now that I can run 50 scan all the time).

Thx! this is a very helpful info :) you mind telling us "lowbies" how many npc kills you have? You are the npc king and i dont think anyone in this game comes close with npc kills so i was curious what kind of numbers we are talking about

I know ya had a topic that was cataloging your success during your 3 month run, but did you take any screen shots or document what your setup was (mods installed) at certain levels? was just curious since it might give a better outline for those that would like to follow your example.

I don't recall the setups but I was researching quickly and basically putting on max weapons I can fit, using ship bots to help and sometimes rank pts to decks. I was kind of winging it up to about 1000 decks then I had more wiggle room.
