 Prejoran Slave Barrier

Me and a cupple of friends i recruited, talked about the different tech we had research for our planetary defence and attack, and a friend of mine showed me the "Prejoran Slave Barrier".
When i first saw it, i thought i was a good structure that could help alot, but with only 6k defence for 20 space on a planet, it ain't that good.
Me and my friends, think it would be much better if you increase the defence to 30k pr. barrier and here is the reason:

If the space is 20 and the def is 30k is at about 1.5k def pr. space and this is alot of defence and cost alot of tech parts, but since you have put in the ability that you will not get any resourches from the planet you deployed it on, and therefore it should be overpowered and used to controll a planet "by any means necissary". For the time being it gives you only 300 def pr. space, but the obviation barriers give 600 def pr space. If the prejoran slave barrier is better in def stats, but still have the same ability that gives you no planetary production, it would be used to controll a planet and prevent you from loosing it. This helps alot when it comes to defending a planet agains saboutur and other people with intentions of taking your planet...

Well this is what i think would be the best thing to do with such a structure.

I think 50K defence, but nullifies ALL other structures on the planet. No production, No population, No attack, No defence. Also, it weakens by 20% each day (compound), but can't be removed for 10 days. By compound, I mean 50K -> 40K -> 32K -> 25.6K -> 20.48K -> 16.384K -> 13.107K -> 10.488K -> 8.389K -> 6.711K.

Gives you time to find a flux. Also, you can only build one a month or 2 weeks or something.

It think this is a great idea, but shouldn't this be used as the ultimate protection against other players? You already get 0 resources, so what is the point of removing everything (just the way i see it).... I personally think there should be alot more defence on that thing, because it should be the ultimate power of defence along with the other structures you already got for defending your planet...

Things wouldn't be removed - just made inactive. i.e. give no bonuses. They're still there. With legion bonuses, on the first day that'd be up to 110K defence.

What exactly do people use these for? Is it just for bricking a good planet while you go and trade for a flux, or do people set them up on storage planets? Prejoran Tech is limited in any case, and I would prefer to spend it on the Power Diffusers (not finished the chain yet so I don't know how much I'll end up with).

Thinking about this structure as a complete blocker, you can't get resources from it nor can you get any of the abilities from the planet (like the extra resource space). This would help you keep your planet while you try to get a flux. Like a last resort to do whatever it takes to keep a planet you have worked on for so long. Because at the time being, 6k def for 20 space isn't that good when you got obivation barriers.

50k def...
2 barrier nexus and 29 OB will be better than that (60 spaces) even if there is no passive stat on the planet...
and u know there are better setups than that~ like a tad population or whatever

If it's gonna nullify everything, it needs to be much closer to maximal efficiency otherwise(thou lower, cause it's "cheaper" overall)

But it would be reasonable for it to be diminishing or nullify storage, either way will make it a wait-for-flux only sort of thing.

How about just making it useful. Right now it's an insane waste of energy to get and resources to build. It should be better than Obviators at defense because it sucks for everything right now.

I won't really say that it must be better than OB, because it's much cheaper to build, but it certainly need to be better than planet shields. I'd say 500-550 per space (10-11k) would be the most reasonable amount.
compared to OB, it would have the advantage to be much cheaper(30 PT is about 1500 KU which is 2.2B, which is ~120M or less per space, while OB is ~380k per space)
but it should have the disadvantage of no production(so walling only) and slightly weaker.
That would be an acceptable modification... it just need to be... not useless

Though I dont think Dan is going to change the stats on the one thats already there, more likely he will make a mission to upgrade it, but, in any case. good idea.

Also, something that might be better:

An Artifact that makes one of your planets invincible.
Only purchasable by GP. maybe 60 GP? (I know I'd buy it.)
Mission reward, limited to 3.
An Extremely Rare NPC (unlikely, unless he makes it the rarest NPC so far).
