We have ship stats. They're nice, but a little... basic.

I'd like to see a personal page sort of thing. This'd be linked to from your stats page, and would show several things, such as:
Your own motto, personal piece (game bio or something), Legion history, Your own avatar (like on the forums), and perhaps a graph to show things like NPCs/Players killed on a month by month basis. You could select the "visibility" of each aspect in case you don't want to give away any vital data. Privacy could be no-one, friends, legion, Pacted legions, All, Or selective.

Selective would be only letting certain people see the extra stats - ideal for if you want to check people's activity or history before letting them into your legion (eg during an interview process like the top legions have, I'd expect).

Also, this could be a model for having other things to show, like achievements, Bounty history or whatever.

The suggestions part of the forums just exploded.

Back on topic, I think this is a good idea, maybe it would reduce flame wars if everyone took the time to find out a little about each other.

I like this idea, it adds a little bit of a personal touch.

EVE Online has a Bio and it's an in-depth (albeit much slower) space game.

Plenty of other space games allow you to have bios.

Moreover, if you cuss on the bio, how about a censoring and a fine in credits (auto-administered; credits deducted congruent to your level and increases proportionally for repeat offenses).
