Currently Konqul Fixer, attack is at 4.5k unbuffed. I focus on getting higher attack and hull. But right now, I'm not sure if I want o start turtling, or continue to speed up my ranking. Which should I pick as my next race:

Lazuli Fixer- More hull, become the tough-nut that you don't really want to crack (turtle)

Drannik Fixer- Power-ranking, and keep my current hull

Drannik Physicist- Again, fast ranking, and shield boost for my legion base.

If you're working on your stats, Go Lazuli Fixer. Work on your defensive mods a bit, and become a tough nut to disable.
Work on your AP production, and try to get to the point where you are not adding decks, and relying on bots. Then start adding some Tacs to make up for your lost Konqul bonus. As your AP increases, You will get your Veloxes or More Helmsmen,

If you NPC more than PvP, Drannik
If you PvP more than NPC, stay Konqul
If you don't like dying, go Lazuli.

Personally, I'm going Mylarai when I freeze, then Lazuli Fixer. ;)

see I was thinking lazuli fixer, even did the math ( would put me - currently - over 25k hull ) but im kinda leaning toward xecti for a bit, due to the governour bonus, id like to see those rift blockades :)

Ok, first... Ni has exactly 1 Physicist currently. Adding a second isn't going to do much for your base.

My question is... What's wrong with Konqul Fixer? Yes, with Drannik anything you can power-rank and Lazuli Fixer has an incredible hull. But with Konqul Fixer, you can still power-rank, you get a decent hull bonus, you count toward base hull buff/repair, and you get the extra attack for invasions and PvP. If you do the Drannik, you WILL end up with extra energy when you rank up, and I doubt you have Hyperdimensional Logistics completed yet, so that extra energy is going to be wasted anyway. If you do Lazuli Fixer, you are a turtle. Now what? They don't stack for the base hull buff. What exactly are you going to do on a regular basis that would require uber-hull?

@Darth Kill. Everything.

With a Nanite Capsule on, Lazuli Fixer will put me at just ove 22k. That, coupled with my newest goal of reaching 5k defence before the end of the month, should make me one of the hardest people to kill in my rank-bracket (hello The BlackPearl and Tommy :) ). If I am correct, I will soon be the owner of the 2 mission planets, hence my artifact should reach around 5k, and coupled with my 4.2k mining (bragbragbrag) I can just slog my way up the ranks without a care in the world :)

And Governor is the worst profession. Period.

What about Lazuli Physicist? You increase both hull and shields, plus you count for both buffs for the base as well. You wouldn't be quite as tough a nut to crack if you did Fixer but you would still be a good turtle.

The Lazuli and Fixer bonuses are multiplitive (spelingz) and would be the only reason for me to change to Lazuli. Ok, I've figured my plan out. Power my way through the Lazuli chain, then change and switch out reactors for some more defense while turtling at around rank 300. 1k engineers should allow me to help on bases and elites, whilst staying relatively still. Thanks for the help guys :)

It triples planet events. But don't forget, 0*3 still equals 0. I'd put them on the same level as merchant and biologist.

decent point, either way i go though i have 6 free race / profession swaps so if whatever i do doesnt pan out i can always try something different, at this point im just tossing the ball around, im probably not gonna switch till i finish all of ship / planet research which will be maybe 1.5 months
