I edited the link, see if it works now. I think I forgot the 'access key'.

Don't mean to interfere with you superplayers :) but I am on level 32 or so...

I have only 102 a pts per hour..
with 10,000 space for storage... so the page says at this moment.

Point? I was at or around 6,000 or so pts and got a scientist...
so perhaps it is percentage of possible storage space full?
What is your total available space for artifacts, ODragon?
I suppose mine was about 60-70% full when I claimed...and
my cargo was tops at 110 with only half full, or so.
Curious. Sorry if this is unrelated. I find it interesting.

Hi Lisa! We're not superplayers, just longer players! :D :D

My total amount of Artifact space is 42,000 so when I am drawing, it means my bar is about 50% full. I am trying to keep constant because that will give me the most accurate read.

Still going to need reactors to cover relay penalty; I have 300 engineers but I still need reactors of the same level as my relays to be able to store energy overnight. It does give you an effective XP boost every rank, those just get farther apart after awhile. I switched back to Vygoid Excavator, I feel that is the best bonus combination anyway. I haven't had problems with minerals it takes 1-3 hours to pay off upkeep but I have about 700/1050/1800 (MP/AP/RP). I don't get planets for minerals anymore so it should decline over time.

Yay! Android scientist and helmsmen in my 3 rolls this morning :-) I'm doing it between 25k-30k AP depending on time constraints (like I have to drop down before I go to bed but it's always over 20k).

This is roughly a 10 day period so far (will update periodically). I noted mass storage pods at 25761 AP / 21320 AP. All draws were at > 20000 AP, up to 32000 AP, so every artifact should have been possible each time. My theory is none of the last 10 that are still 0 are drawable at this time based on other feedback from players. I got 3 neural interfaces in the last 24 hours so I consider myself lucky. I'll have to wait until I get another cube + level to use one effectively.

Long term, I think for ship boosting you actually want to draw at < 10000 to avoid star charts and mass storage pods; definitely most people will hit a good cargo amount where they can at least draw at < 20000 and include star charts if they want, but it will according to ODragons data absorb a lot of the AP %. His data also shows 3 items among his higher draw ratios are 0 for me, and my star charts are less common; it's probably luck of the draw, but for the charts and ship-bots I wonder if rank affects the draw.

There were 64 drawable item types before, but I believe there are only 60 now (recent adjustment to the draw table). My current stats when I ran them through are not significantly different from the stats you would get if you drew a random artifact from the remaining 60 each time with an equal chance at each.

I also noted at the average rate I was getting shield amps, someone with 2000 AP / hour or more is likely to be able to keep it on all the time, 3000 AP / hour almost definitely can.

Anyone else have data, post in this thread and update if you're keeping track, the more we have the better the analysis.

This is definitely true. While both the Mass Storage Pod and Alien Star Charts are only drawn less than 5% combined, they account for more than 35% of my total AP spent. This is a significant amount. Once I hit 1000 artifacts traded, I will move down to the <20k mark. I'm going to keep it >16k as I still want a chance at a mass surface melter but since it is so rare, I doubt it will make any difference. While the Star Charts do account for a lot of AP spent, they also have the chance of given me nice planets (one of the last ones was a large terra 3x mega artifacts) so they are worth getting even if the chance of getting something great is low.

Without posting my whole sheet, at about 1,000,000 AP spent, the following things I'm seeing:
Most Drawn Items:
Shield Amplifier = 18
Alien Star Chart = 17
Ship-bot = 15

Least Drawn Items:
Sentry Guards = 4
Repair Nanodrones = 5
Ancient Crystal Foci = 5
Phase Cutter Chassis = 5
Alarm Sentry = 5

Never Drawn:
Mass Surface Melter
Planet Flux
Quasi-Spacial Expander
Terraforming Device

Ship upgrades:
670 Cargo Spaces
30 Deck Space
18 My Choice Space (Rescued Prisoners)
44 Scientists
21 Helmsmen
110 Hull
50 Shield

Also worth pointing out as it was pointed out to me,
Tesseract Container at 1750 AP, giving 10 Cargo spaces = 175.5 AP/Cargo Space
Mass Storage Pod at 20,000 AP, giving 60 Cargo spaces = 333.3 AP/Cargo Space

So the Tesseract Container is a better choice for getting cargo space.

A source revealed that you can find a dyson with an alien star chart.
For that I have been keeping my fingers crossed when I use star charts...

How many are you at now? I ran stats with 1000 draws and I would expect >= 6 minimum and some > 20-25, but then I looked at 1M AP, and if stats are like my actual you're around 600 draws right now. I ran again with 600 using the binomial function, making the assumption that the 4 never drawn are not in the table so there are 60 possible. Your highest and lowest actually look correct at this level, which seems to confirm that you roll from your possible choices with equal chance at each. I don't see any evidence yet that the AP level itself affects anything except the possible choice table.

I experienced a similar result, charts and storage pods both were about 15% of my total AP cost. If you take both of them out, you actually increase everything else by about 50%. If you are satisfied with your planet list and cargo size, drawing between 4000-9999 AP is the way to go for maximum ship gain. I will continue as well tho with > 20000 AP tests to collect data.

I'm at 552 artifact rolls at the moment, 1,014,100 AP.

There are sweet spots. Numbers when to collect. Get them right and you have good chances of getting something useful.

And pray to Tron, drop more crumbs into your keyboard as offerings.
Focus on what you want then click.

Works for me :)

THis. Since I'm mostly interested in getting ship bots prisoners, cells, brackets and crewmen, I do my arti pulls between 8-12k. I just dinged level 111 tonight and made heavy titan. I made titan at 102. Thats 102 decks in 9 levels. Thats 11.3 decks/level.

I call that bs. I do my pulls at 20k, I got 1.5k AP/Hour, I got a single mass storage pod in the past week+ and safe to say I get like 20 decks/androids/scientists/rank points per week. There is no such thing as a sweet spot as long as you can still get all kind of crap ranging from Spy Probe's to Subspace Seekers'. It's just luck, and that sucks immensely.

well its random but turning in at a lower value can help you avoid certain things (subspace seekers) and then you can turn in more often for a better chance. I turn in down to below 4k whenever possible and I have more than 4k AP/hr so I am constantly turning in.

The part I called #&$# is in bold. Should have had "smart" quoted.
And yes, that's the only way you can evade getting screwed by the subspace seekers but then again you can get Unstable Wormhole Emitter, Ship Traps, Planet Traps and, why not, Warp Gate Chassis that after a certain point I grew up to hate. And you still get screwed. I all at 20k+ because I am rather low on cargo space. I bet once I get what I want, 2-3 more Mass Cargo Pod's, and not want them they will keep rolling in. So I will probably call in at 10k since I love those alien charts.

I used to get one every other day. I mean a week or so ago. And they are not up for sale for GP. So I doubt they are gone. Or the drop rate tweaked. I mean really this game can't go only in the wrong direction as far as enjoyment goes. Can it ? Dan ?

the purgers seem a lot more rare now too. Not quite mythical. The number of planets hasn't gotten bigger in a while either. there are like 100 per a user now. I bet most aren't that great either. It's a small galaxy after all. Time to actually cloak planets it looks like.
