I see on the wiki that the formula to see what the total xp required for a certain rank is: 20*(L^2)= total xp
My question is... what the hell does "^" stand for? I'm not a mathmatician (obviously), and I'm trying to figure out exactly how much xp I'll have when I complete a desired mission chain, and if I can complete it within my set goals.
I appreciate the help guys

^ is "raised to the power of"
so L^2 means "L*L" L^3 would be "L*L*L"
