If you spend enough time here on the forums you see Dan post occasionally in a thread reminding us he is alive. I think his updates are pretty reasonable really, of course everyone always wants things faster, but i know just how much of a hassle coding is, and my programming knowledge is pitiful. If you really want a game that just copy+paste for its new content, try Zynga, they have farmville, frontierville, castleville, etc etc etc, all pretty much exactly the same but with different sprites. "omigosh a new update, my pigs can be blue!!! in 5 different games...."
If you just play this game casually, like a lot of the player base, come online every few hours, use your energy, help kill a boss or 2, damage a base, spend your resources, go offline again. You will find waiting on updates a lot less painful.
I do not want a zynga clone. Luckily, this game wasn't that.
I did play this game casually (at least casually for me although I did break 1k fairly quickly). I use my energy and I let my relays refill it. I've helped kill bosses and I have every module in the game except for 1 parser and 3 quad frames (and now the ones from planet blockades and the daily mission). I have fought and helped beat bases and been in the top ten almost every time I join in and all of my mining planets have tri-phase, all arts and res have the adumbrates, and I've 20x'ed a couple of them from crystals. I have completed every mission possible up to this point as well. After a while, that only goes so far.
Anyways, it seems most people have taken what I was asking for and taken it to an extreme (although I admit I was having an off day on the original post, so it was fairly angry).
I only want Dan to release the things he says he is going to release (preferably things that are dynamic and continuous and not just single missions) and maintain a constant voice with the player base so that we know what's going on and not simply make a forum post or two each month.
