When someone in your legion locks on to a base, instead of it being notified in the comm, it would be more informative and helpful if it appeared as a notification in the Ship's Log. Because, I've had many moments where I miss attacking a base before it was disabled when I was online, because I didn't know we were locked on to a base. I'm not the only person who's had this happen to them. I've had others in my legion bummed out over this very reason.
If it was a notification, then people would know easier and there'd be less chance of people getting bummed out, annoyed, mad, etc. over missing a base because they didn't see it in the comm. I hope you consider my suggestion and deem it worthy of doing.

So then you would have to be on the right filter and go through your log on the News tab? Much easier when you log on to just click Battle, then Enemy Bases. Two clicks and you can see if your legion has a base locked, has disabled a base, or is waiting to scan for a base. Pretty simple. The news feed gets cluttered with too much stuff as it is, especially in a legion that does a lot of NPCs and planet shares. And let's face it, for the most part the filters are worthless as they are.

I suppose this could be useful only if you are one of those people that never looks at your legion comm. as something that goes on your ship log pops up in the top left corner making it pretty easy to see. I don't actually vote either way in this as i can see both sides in convenience and redundancy.

We really shouldn't be encouraging people to not use the legion comm. As it is, it works fine. If you at least check the comm it's not hard to see, and if you are just getting on you can always just click the bases button.
