The only reason people will help defend a planet is out of the goodness of their heart, so i was thinking about an insentive for the less kind hearted to become planet guards for other people. my idea is that planet resource avalibility should increase base production I.E. very sparse mining/artifact/research= 1% bonus, abundant mining/artifact/research= 5% bonus, extremely rich mining/artifact/research= 10% bonus Exotica= 500% bonus (because someone will complain that Exotica is treated like a "normal" planet when it isn't otherwise  ) however any other opinions are welcome

-1 to be honest I'm not sure I understand the idea. Your saying if we had 10 extremely rich planets (a very small number) then that would be a +100% boost to base production from ONE person?

Yeah i didn't reply to his post but that's what i thought it meant too, and if so it's a -1 from me. WAY too OP.

No, what I THINK it means is that it will increase by 10% for every guard on any ExR planet. Or 500 F****** % for each guard on exotica.

That's still makes this one of the most OP suggestions I've ever seen.

If that was the case then 10 guards on an extr. rich planet would give a 100% base production bonus. And 500% bonus is WAY too OP.

500%, if everyone in the Dysonians guarded Exotica, well you get the picture, 30 000% increase to the highest base production out there...

Worst part is that they would only need to do so for a max of a few minutes, everyone guard a 15x MR planet 2 minutes before the base production is delivered, get a nice couple of thousand % increase to base production and then stop guarding the planet once you've received your daily shipment.

Yep. That's right.

Looking at it now, my suggestion was very OP but instead of the 10% for extremely rich, it could be 0.01%/0.001% ect, with Exotica recieving the 10% (unless it's "king of the hill" status is over-rated, in that case, normal multipliers.) Also, i wasn't meaning per guard, i was just suggesting an idea to make helping other legion members capture and hold planets more worthwhile. apologies for my OP idea, i can't realy be bothered doing math today so i didn't realise how powerful the bonuses would be  .

I'm still not really sure what your idea is. So you get a bonus to the base if you help to conquer a planet?

Sorry, i'm not doing very well today, lol. what i mean is, for every planet controlled bby a player in the legion, that legion gets a bonus to production depending on the resource avalibility I.E. if a legion has 10 members, and they all own 10 planets with ex. rich mining and the ex. rich multiplier is 0.01%, the bonus to base mining would be one percent, the idea is to justify helping to capture a planet and guard it so it can't be retaken, other than doing it just to "help out". the bonuses for Exotica were only suggested because is supposed to be a "king of the hill" planet (despite the fact there are thousands of planets better than exotica.) Hope that clarifies my idea.

High level players each have countless planet slots and most are filled with planets way above extremely rich so yeah still incredibly overpowered and unneeded, I'm sorry but it's a huge -1 from me.
