I'm not new to this game but this is just new news to me. I just went online and seen this message appear when i was gonna say "badges" and it came up "Cannot send, you are banned from sending messages to other players" or something like that, is this only for a while that i'm gonna be banned for, or is this a lifetime comm ban?

edit: the comm ban auctually says this "Cannot send. You are no longer allowed to send any messages."

Lifetime I think, it's when someone sends you a comm, there's a ban button next to their message.

i have not recieved any comm messages since yesterday, its not just one person im banned from sending messages to its everyone..do you think i can reply is someone sends to me?, like with the reply button

I don't know to be honest, Dan might have banned you from sending comm messages if you've been trash talking.

well as i recall yesterday i did lose my temper at someone, Dan used the element of surprise lol
but i gotta admit, at least its not an in game ban itself, that would have been worse

Yeah lol. Anyway if it is a temp comm ban then I'm glad dan is using other forms of punishment other than perm ban .

well i'll wait a few weeks, if it isnt off in about 2 weeks or so then its a perm comm ban

more fun than u think, now i can't say stuff to people, not even the comm's of people in my legion, has anyone else been banned from the comm or is it only me? that should be a massive medal "get banned from comm permanantly" hurray something to auctually show off other than getting banned, because probably a wierdo contacted the developer, wow, what a whiny b*tch, there is a "block sender" RIGHT next to the message, why not learn to read and use that instead of contacting the developer (this last part is not directed at anyone)

well someone was permanently banned from the game for spamming someone's comm back in january. I'm pretty sure you're not calling XxExterminatorxX a whiny b*tch because he reported the guy instead of using the 'block' button. that incident and the resultant recommendations for less severe punishments is probably what saved you from being permantently banned from the game.

i said "(this last part is not directed at anyone)" which means obviously i wasnt calling XxExterminatorxX a whiny b*tch , and i wasn't spamming anyone, i'd say i was more of trash talking (over temper) and i doubt XxExtermninatorxX had anything to do with this...your a confusing person to talk to.

XxExterminatorxX did exactly the same as whoever got you banned from posting comms. I know your intention wasn't to call anyone that, however it could easily have been taken as such (because he had performed the very same actions you were mocking.)

I do find some of the punishments a little harsh in this game. I believe the best approach would to offer warnings for more minor incidents and in cases like this a warning and a cooling off comm ban.

Although this would be harder for Dan to implement as it would require him keeping record of who had action taken against them. Although it is silly to get angry over an online game sometimes people do lose it temporarily and all they need is a warning.

These punishments can impact a whole legion of innocent players who in cases like this can lose the effectiveness of a valid player from their legion.

This is just my opinion and I would hope that I can express my opinion here without any action from the thought police .
