clean sweep trap......attacking the enemy vessel has set off a electro-magnetic vortex-
Wipes all positive buffs from attacking player and negative buff from defending player and prevents the use of any buff to you or debuffs to the defending players for 30 min.


This would be a new ctl invention........ that would require lets say
20 CM 20 Cages 30 20 nul fuses and 50 energy to create.

-1 - To me its something that would just piss people off, both in terms of PvP and in terms of legions trying to get the good ctlab designs getting shafted with this instead. :)

Being a trap that is reasonablly hard to make(even the highest ranker would make 1-2 a day at most), I dont think it is liable to become the new halc

However, the trap is too powerful. Personally, I think a trap that functions as a cage is more than enough, and perhaps another trap that function as a CM. But immunity to debuff thereafter is way too much IMO

tbh, with the many CTL recipe suggestions, the problem of harder find as recipe increase is pretty serious, it becomes the objection of many decent but not too good recipes(on the other hand, the good ones could be considered OP)
I think they might as well change the CTL mechanics.

Specifically, for each attempt, each recipe have a 0.01% chance of being found(possible to find multiple in same attempt). Making recipe no longer interfere with each other.

This chance can be changed ofc, but I do beleive that's more realistic too. And we can keep adding more and more recipe w/o affecting old ones in any way.

-1 No one wants to waste their precious nulls on an effect that lasts on 30 min.

i know many that would use them... the players that do not want to pvp.... this is a def trap to help those not wanting to pvp.... the only people getting pissed off would be the ones pvping someone that does not want to be atk.

And it only last 30 min like a kv the attacker can still use a nul to remove the trap like they would another. However the defender gets a 30 min immunity to debufss..... you can still kill him just have to commit your energy now instead of spamming debuffs.

no way this would be even close to a haclogen.....

dan has added many defensive countermeasures to aid non pvpers. the fact that you ignored them suggests you don't take advantage of them.

I think its too strong in its current form, but i like the idea of a counter-artifact trap.

However, i think a nice balance could be that it visibly changes your shields or something so that attacking players can know that you have it up and skip them if they wish.

Another option is make this be set off not by attacks, but instead by the artifacts themselves.
Each debuff has a 20% chance to make it go off perhaps.

Either way, it should drop the debuff enemy part - its too much

beter yet a reverce trap....... that goes off on the 1st debuf you have shot at you unknow to the attacking player..... and every debuff after add 5% atk or def instead of taking 10% away... that would be a ice suprice when they go to attack you and get pounded lol.......
