Apology in Advance Look don't chew my a$$ if it cannot be done or if it is impossible to code or if its to much work i am not that well versed in computers
My Idea Make the artifact tabs artifacts adjustable like having the ability to have all your most commonly used ship artifacts at the top of the list would be (in my opinion) a great addition to the game.
And subsequently if that can included it would also be terrific if you could also make it so all of the energy absorbing weapons could be moved to the top of the weapons list or adjust it so that when you hit options it sorts them by energy loss.

this has been suggested many times and its just to complicated you have to find out what artis are a players favorite and code it try doing that about 1million times

How about using a similar system to the locked mineral stuff? give the player the ability to pin a number of artifacts to the top, so even sorting alphabetically won't move the pinned artis. OR the ability to mark artifacts, similar to the flag system on our planets. and just use the filter "Marked" to display all marked artifacts.
I dunno how easy/difficult these would be to code in, but the flag option /shouldn't/ be to difficult to impliment

marking them would be bad but there would have to be a limit to how many flags you can have

can you elaborate on why marking/flaging them would be bad?
and I'd suggest a limit of 5 flags (mine would be repair nano, shield restorer, null fuse, and the 2 artifacts for either npc or pvp (depends on what I'm doing))
