so i was thinking on what we could do with our badges after we have all the modules we can buy with them. with reds we can scan for bases, with silvers we can buy clamps for the base. what about the others? i was thinking making a market where we could trade our badges for titles/designs, or something like that. if anyone has an idea on this topic just post it below.

Once I get all my badge mods for a specific color I'm gonna start buying the best badge mod for that color badge and start scrapping them.

Just be sure to check the "Coming Attractions."

Firespray did that with his reds and scrapped over 1k worth of Dominion Cannons right before Mark 2 and 3 were released.

u can never have too many dark, cause u can never have too much passive stats on planets
green would be hard too unless you are playing football, and that will eventually get too expensive so u will eventually unable to keep up with lotus(more so with upgraded lotus)

but if you really like PvP, I can see how blue and yellow could become useless~ not a problem for me cause I dont pvp much XD

Blues can be used for tactical bypasses and Counter-Intelligence Nexus

yellows can be used for heist dispatch centers and their upgrades

Each color has something you can buy repeatedly.
red = base scans
blue = tactical bypass AND counter intel unit (planet building)
green = assimilation locus and upgrade
yellow = heist dispatch centre and upgrade
black = quantum accelerator
silver = charged exo-clamp.

That's true but you guys are kinda missing the point of the post. He wasn't complaining that there aren't things to be repeatably, he was suggesting that badges be put to use for things like titles and ship designs.

The implication in the original post was that there was nothing with other badges apart from red and silver.

A market for titles and designs could be cool though.

The rest was just exposition. But yeah this isn't really a new idea, just one that has fallen off the main page it seems. Personally I would like to see badges redeemable for further ships/titles beyond those achieved just through medals. Like we get a title for 1k kills, but those badges have likely been spent long ago. A ship themed after that title for 1k red badges would be a nice long term goal for a lot of pvp ships.

there are stuff that u can buy repeatedly, but that doesn't mean the demand can always keep up with the supply

because colonization cost grows really fast, most ppl wont have over 200 planets, and probably less than 50 mining and 50 research planets.
that means after 2k blue and 3k yellow, you are done.

a focused hacker might never attack much, which means tactical inner bypass might not be used much at all.

the current high score of hack/raid are 8k/6k, now it's doubtful that all that is badge awarding "hits", but the point is, there will most defintely come a point when you have more badges than you can use if you like to pvp a lot.
even red might get too many, as long as u kill more than 5 ships every 8 hours...
