I suppose that in a failed scan of a planet, we can find comets instead. They could have goodies, like mineral points, random artifacts, or even (the disguise of) an enemy NPC. Or as a matter of fact, comets could trigger BONUS MISSIONS!

Then a Black Hole would be "luckier" than a planet. It would provide bonuses that I (we?) can't even conceive yet.

What say we find black holes and comets soon?

The black holes could be harvested by using 100M credits and 1000 health to yield a "Black Hole Energy Cube". Each cube would yield anywhere from 100-1000 energy....

It could be that your ship successfully ventures into the black hole, and then is able to release all of the energy held within the black hole...

joking aside, if we were to get something like this, i'd suggest it be a white hole or a quasar used instead. as a white hole theoretically spews matter and stuff into space, where as a quasar is fueled by a black hole ejecting matter and energy~ (absolutely butchered the way my science lecturers taught it to me ^^; but meh~ it works)

Well aren't the quasars the two "beams" of ejected matter and energy that the black hole spews out because of it's rapid intake of energy and matter?

not that its a bad idea but Dan is against people ranking up quickly so that wouldn't work.

My ship is powered by tiny universes. I don't think blackholes will fit.
