Just an idea, but what if we added a button onto the main page, (I am refering to the news page), for 'Claim Daily Shipment' for the Base Productions.

Been suggested many times in the past. Probably not going to happen. If you want that base shipment bad enough, then just go to the base tab.

Some people have left games when they altogether required too much effort from them. Sorry, sad, but 'tis true.

let's see ... 100k research for 2 clicks = 50k research per click.

If the base production is that important to you then you wouldn't forget to collect it.

some people actually have lives out side gl, as such sometimes you can be in a rush, and not remember stuff

I will spend no more than 6 hours (15 min - 1 hour on busy days, 2 hours on regular days, up to 4 hours on weekends, and 4 - 6 hours when my weekend is open). What I do when I'm off the computer/ what you would say about me if you saw all of my hobbies would make you suggest "What made me play Galaxy Legion? Well the answer is simple. I like games where you can level up and get stronger.

Are you implying that I spend too much time playing gl then spending in real life? I actually have one, I go outside and exercise at least twice a day. I have lots of friends whom I talk to often.

If you're in a rush then dump your energy into missions or into your base. Collect the production from base, then collect your production. Simple. The fact that you don't manage your gameplaying time well suggests that you need to improve on that. I don't know what you do with that short amount of time. If you go PvPing/NPCing then that's your fault. Then apparently PvPing/NPCing is more important to you than collecting resources.
