Why do I have to wait 1 week before I can give to other bases.. Why did you make that rule. I have tryed to think of why but I am unable to think of any thing intelligent for it being so. Can you PLZ tell me why you did this?

He probably wants the general population to progress slower than we have been so he has time to develop more high rank content before that too is out of date. So he is limiting the few players who are able to install top level harvesters from doing so. Pure conjecture on my end though

This isn't about building modules, it's about donating to the Base.

He doesn't want people roaming between Legions too much; Legions are meant to be 50-60 people, but if people can move around too easily then groups of Legions can become too powerful.

Also yes. I was referring to his previous threads offering to travel between legions and install the top harvesters. I assumed since he was the one asking I didn't need to also tailor my answer to whoever else was reading this. But yes, that is the other side of the coin I was describing. Ships like Mento and Namalak have called attention to the fact that a base can be built up virtually over night, to a level that previously took months if not years. If bases are to remain relevant, that needs to be prevented and slowed down

What are you talking about? You didn't answer his question; his question was about donating, not building.

Yes and it's because players like him are in a position to travel around building new modules for legions who previously would not have had access, that bases are being visited and built up. And therefore why measures have likely been put in place to discourage this sort of thing. Again, I was referring to his previous posts about traveling for the purpose of building harvesters. Had he not traveled, he would not have noticed that he has to wait to contribute. Ipso facto, answering his question by addressing the cause of actions taken, which are now preventing him from donating.

I'm half asleep so it's entirely possible I'm not explaining my train of thought very well, but the bottom line here is that the likely reason Dan would take actions like those described in the OP, is to slow base progression and keep bases relevant while simultaneously slowing the progress of individual ships who are benefiting from said bases. The longer he can keep us in lower ranks, the longer he has to develop new content, and the longer that content will last.

fact is , I could BUY GP and upgrade base for people and get planets and tech. I would have spent more on GL doing this then what I have, I think its bad for us bad for cash for dan bad EVEY thing.

Reasoning behind the actions aside, what exactly are you prohibited from doing? Because just last week I went to a sister legion and upgraded them from a 3 to 4, as well as adding the CTP and EM needed for a lvl 5 and a couple thousand energy. So if you are being prevented from donating, it's either a VERY recent addition, or something unique to you.

You cannot donate energy, ctp, or EM to a base if you have done so to another base in the previous 7 days.

I'm going to say this is to slow down high rank people (who have high max energy) from flitting around the galaxy and upleveling bases too much. Just look at the flap that came up when FluffyBunny did it for Anomaly.

Ah so that's the limiting factor. Alpha base has been comfortable with it's level for quite some time now, so I hadn't donated there in quite some time as well. Thanks for clearing that up Darth, as well as providing some evidence as to what I had previously only been able to guess at.

Rule of the game is that you can't contribute to a base if you've contributed to another in the past week. It applies to everybody. I am only speculating as to why Dan made that a rule, but maybe so that legion ships couldn't jump from their legion to their alliances and instantly upgrade them all if possible for the sake of base battles. But that is just me making a guess about it. There could be any kind of reasons as to why, or much more than this all the same. But it seems that 7 days seems to be the magic number he has come up with for loyalty, contributing, etc....

kinda uncool. And lame. all the game has become is one massive stall on EVERY thing and a way for dan to nickle and dime people. max NRG u can give is 2k at a time? I can give 20billion em in a single shot but just 2k nrg??? why.

All he dose ans stall us and pinch our wallets right and left. Geting lame. We should clean up some of that garbage in the game.

multi rotation is the only reason I can see
if there was no limit bunch of multi can join when their energy is full donate and leave and other multi join and so on
possibly adding the energy of hunrdeds of accounts to a base

EM and CTP doesnt have this problem thou... they can be traded anyway meh
