IMO since I love PvP myself, try the following:

1st your planet resource is way behind, only occupy VM Rich Gas for research and VL+ VR+ planets for artifact.

2nd install atleast 2 researched MK III defence Mods and try to hit your defence up to atleast 1k+ (I myself love defence)

3rd get atleast 3-5 researched hull mods (Merged Nexus/Deep Core)

4th research antiproton up to heavy/MK III, w/e you want to call it. would say 3 Heavy Antiprotons and use the rest for Hull.

5th if you get a chance to drop/abandon planets for better ones, do it. hit research/hr up to atleast 2k+, artifact/hr to 2.5k+ and mineral/hr to 1k+ if not more by Rank 130.

6th by Rank 150 you should have atleast 2k+ RP/Hr, 2.5k+ AP/Hr, 1.5k MP/Hr. 5 Researched Hull(Deep Core), 4 Heavy Antiprotons with MK II-III 4 Dom Cannons, 2 Researched MK III Defence Mod, Zero-Point Reactor MK IV Researched, +8-+10s Planetary Building, +750 Planetary Shields, high researched scanning mods. Atleast by Rank 150 you should have those Mods up and running.

Just my opinion, it helped me, I'm sure it'll help you too. Having experienced player guide you through in game will help you in the long run.

you have double my attack power, but i have 3x your hull. my AP/hour is 1500 at the moment (just switched to excavator). will have my 1k raids after the weekend (disables still below 500).

My 2 cents about PVP for you ship would be to increase your hull

Even if you take off your defense to make room for more hull modules
Think of it this way, if someone with your exact ship attacked you, it would take about 11 hits to disable.

Take off the quantum overlay (66 deck) and install 2 nexus platings (29 deck each)
Defense 723 -> 423
Hull 1150 -> 2090

Now that same attacker would take about 13 hits to disable even though your defense is lower
(and you'll even have an additional 8 decks to play with)

Well here i go being a nay sayer again....

I didnt install any researchable hull on my ship until i finished synchopated. If attack pvp isnt your thing you can get away with high cloak / defense, low hull medium attack and get all the reds youll ever want at your level fairly easily. The heavy pvpers cant find you and the heavy hackers wont be able to kill you.

Jack of all trades can work, you just have to work at it.

Let me see...

First, you may want to freeze/slow rank for a while. See if you can get Energy Nullifier Mk IIIs and replace the Overlay, BM50s, and Scruuge Deflector with them.
I would - personally - recommend dropping the cores excepting periods of ranking and perhaps keeping one on overnight. The max energy they give, you likely won't be filling up excepting rank ups, TMEs, and ecubes.
See if you can upgrade the rest of your Dominion Cannons to Mk III.
Drop a hunt sensor and data stream compiler.
Drop the BioMimetic Sealer. Use all space cleared from the above to install as many hull modules as you can.
Continue getting decks as possible, finish installing all of your hulls followed by keeping an attack:defense ratio of approximately 2:1. Attack:defense ratio might be arguable based on your play style, but it's worked well for me.

Recently tried Konqul Excavator with stats of 3159 Attack and 1972 Defence, it's way more energy efficient and helped me get faster PvP Kills. Aerlen Fixer/Excavator would still be my favourite pick since the overall ship stats is balanced than the other race/prof. Fairly hard to disable, if you had a chance on changing into another race/prof, I would suggest to pick an Aerlen Fixer.
