30 minutes, once between daily upkeeps. once sparring arena is entered, can not exit for 30 minutes.

while in the sparring room, combatants may not be attacked from the BT (cloak = 10k ?)

costs rank/2 energy

artifacts / repair costs consumed during sparring are lost

- benefits: allows players to 'test' out different ship builds in a 'live-fire' environment
- costs: zero xp gain, can not pursue missions or any BT-related combat while sparring

Sparring Section/Room:

- Must be 40% below or above your current Rank
- 20 Energies to join with a Friend/Legion-mate.
- Sparring Invitation Button on Action Tab, Only Legion-mates and Friends are able to see this button. Confirm YES/NO.
- Best of 5 Battles or Best of 7 Battles. You may chose one match type.
- Damage taken from the Sparring Section will not affect the Overall Hull/Sheild outside the section. It will stay the same.
- Ship will be unguarded during this section, any disables/raids/hacks can take place while Sparring.
- Energies per Attack is reduced by 3 on this section (2 energies per attack)
- No badges/Exp will be gained/earned after the section.
- Ship Effects are applied. Velox Thruster, Titan Proxy, Trinity-Core Drive, Auto-Evasion Node, Aegis Capacitor, Etc.
- NO TRAPS applied.
- NO buffs, de-buffs allowed. If currently buffed and joined this section, Attack/Defence/Hull/Shield/Scan/Cloak will go to it's original un-buffed stats.
- Ship Statistics will stay the same after the section.
- 30 minute cooldown, until you can join another Match/Section.

Just an improvement thought of the suggestion and would also like to see this in-game so +1.
Actually PvP'ing someone that's online and on the same room would be fun.

personally i think the cool down should be 2 hours but +1 to everything else.

Idea like this have been shared before a tournament are and such. I think the fights should be auto done one ship shoots the other ship shoots and then you just find out who wins one click and you know maybe awards for it or something. Oh and no traps or geminis going off :)

+! i love the idea i think there needs to be more legion options in the game
also maybe a legion betting system as well for your legionary

Not necessary. These ships we fly are not real, but instead are lines of code. The game could be programmed to run the demo calculations and show results without that having any actual effect on your ship. Don't want to give people invulnerability in any way, else when I catch you trying to disable me I could just pop into a 'duel' and take it super slow. Half hour of tapping my team mate every few minutes with fake energy for fake damage later and you're fuming that I'm never coming out of the duel and don't even have to spam krios to ward you off.
