can we make this artifact a bit more common? i was reading the more uses for exotic matter thread and saw its 750 energy to get ONE! plus i almost NEVER get them from my artifact shipments... there are a TON of planets out there that i dont want in my scan database, and alot are enemy planets. Instead of having to look at another guys planet, and then when he runs a flux probe that shows my scan of it have him worry someone will take it, i just want to erase it from my scan and maybe find a planet i could actually USE. plus with the one planet every 4 ranks and the energy that it takes to find new planets, i think this is a reasonable request.

When you get high enough there is a repeatable mission that you can do as many times as you want and get them. I think around rank 130 or 135 it shows up.

Yes, he mentioned it above and thinks 750 energy is too much to spend for one.

Mass purger would be stupid unless you're meaning it has multiple uses on individual planets?

If it's along the lines of what i suggested +1 :)

No jopp i mean a mass purger i have too many junk planets on my screen and it makes the program lag something fierce. If i could wipe every enemy and unoccupied planet off of the planets tab i would be a happy man.

That will never happen. For one I still wouldn't ever use it since some of those worlds do have a chance of getting better and some are being held by my enemy's. So why purge them when they could become great worlds and be open for attack? If anything maybe something close along the lines of you can select five worlds to be purged and they are are purged at once. That would be better I think.

I like the multi-use and 5-at-a-time ideas.

Like you mojo, there's a few enemy planets on my list that i'm keeping my eye on for future cultivation

You do have a point mojo but like i said my main complaint is the fact that it increases the lag and makes the software lock up whenever i check my planet tab because i have like 300 planets over and above my own. There has to be a better more effecient way to clear them out. Even when i use a one shot purger it still make the progam lock up and takes forever to get more than one or two off the screen

I know what you mean I have 632 worlds in my scan base right now. All though mine never really has any problems with doing anything on the planet tab. I don't know maybe its just the server you are using. I use Google chrome and it works great.

Yeah, if you're using Internet Explorer that might be the reason, I've used that for Galaxy Legion and it's pretty terrible, at least compared to Chrome.

I use Firefox on a Mac and Galaxy legion hasn't given me any issues with my 300+ planets.

I would like to see more Star Chart Purgers, they're useful for cleaning up the drabbles after running a 100+ scan sweep of the galaxy and you end up with 40-50 crap planets.

omg... dave have good luck...
i only get like 1/week for each 500 AP/hour production I have....
In any case, I would never mind more/easier ways to purge bad planets.
But at I don't buy the reasoning given here, 750 energy/purger isn't that bad, considering it's not like the energy just goes "poof" and EM is simply worthless by comparison.
Besides... you got a lot of time to purge stuff between scan sprees, and at later times, growing your own planet is part of the game
