virtual figuring mode

is where put things on your ship to figure if you have enough credit, mineral or total credits if you buy the minerals or how many more decks needed past max deck you have

if you put more thing you have on it figure how many more decks you need to fit everything on with each item following all the rule for each items.

you put the things on the ship it figures how much credits you need plus how much mineral for each type or if you buy it total credits need to put those things on.

if you are selling something it and putting a better item on (like a better weapon) it subtracts the deck from what you have.
it add the credits from what you need to put something on (say it cost 4 billion you need and you sell something for say 1 billion, then 3 billion is what you need)
as you add things it add size of each item to current decks used until max then it tell how many decks you need to fit those things on your ship.
it would show what your new attack , defense , scan, cloak would be also if you add those things.

excel you want to make it harder than it needs to be.

The point is, the amount of time it would take Dan to implement would completely consume his time and prolonging actual game content! I mean it could be helpful but not at the expense of new content.

The scenario you give is just one more reason why God gave humans this little thing called a brain.
