I just keep clicking on the item link in the popup that says I have been outbid and I can rebid within a few seconds that way, its much faster because if i waited for each time for it to tell me I have been outbid I would never win anything.

My take on this GTC.

For the first release I think it's pretty decent, now for the pros and cons.

Pros:
Bidding with credits allows you to know exactly how much your bidding.
Nice interface, with some nice sorting functions.
I like the PPI, very helpful to know if it's a good deal or not without going through every auction.
Search function for items was a pretty obvious one so I'm lad dan put it in.
I like the auction and bid limits, means high rankers can't get in on everything.
10 energy is nice i think, means you can't go nuts and you have to be careful what you buy.

Cons:
Making GL more laggy, either that or my connections suddenly gotten worse.
No cancelling function for both bids and auction.
Despite what I said earlier, 2 slots is a bit too little, maybe 4?
Again despite what I said earlier maybe a scaling to rank energy function is better, 1 or two energy for every hundred ranks?
Not sure why the 50 rank limit is in place.
No auto refresh.
No exact timers on auctions.
Taking ages to receive items, credits.
No snipe bidding protection, maybe an added 10 seconds would make it fairer yet still make auctions fast paced.
No buy out option, maybe let the seller set the amount.
Auction times are too long, have 30 minutes and 1 hour added, or even seller set times.

Overall Verdict: Once the inital novelty wears off I reckon it's gonna have to be updated a hell of a lot to actually become a main part of this game.

i guess the 50 rank limit is to minimize the use of alts for auction/bidding, which would circumvent(er.... I think I spelt that wrong) the energy cost and the slot limits

I like the idea of having a "Buy now" button and being able to cancel your auctions. +1 for these 2.Maybe the drop rate for null fuses should be changed a bit now that the GTC has arrived.You can get 100 each with just a few millions and now pretty much everyone has at least 1 up.

it's called the Galactic Trade Center for a reason, not the Galactic Auction House

keep the auction system in place for those who want to chance making more profit on their items, but have a market/trade system for those who'd rather go with the safer option (seen multiple posts about 10ctp going for 50-60B but 130ctp going for 26M.)

1. cloning pod is in SETS of 2. note that he said sets of pods. So if both arti is possible, it's 2:1 ratio in term of items.
2. cloning pod costs 400 each, null fuse 2000 each. Which means if u pull between 2000 and 400, u can only get pods and not fuse. While this usually wont be done manually, if u do an auto "pull all" then that means part of the pull will only have pods and nulls.

His information is correct, you are just iggying some factors

i like the idea but it would eliminate the need for trade pacts.
i'll have to +0.5 it for that reason.

We've already eliminated the need for trade pacts ;) with the simple innovation of using the trade groups/trade post and facebook friend requests.

Yeah but you use 2-3 pods every week maybe but when it comes to fuses you need at least few each day.Just saying that the fuses needs to drop a little more now that everyone has at least 1 trap on.

that's true enough, although for the purpose of trading they are redundant because of friend requests.

oh i fully agree with that, i havent sent anything to anyone who weve ever had a trade pact with. its just unlikely that your going to be allied with the person your trading with.
