I don't see what's so weak about the Mylarai. Minerals are the source of credits, the most basic "resource" arguably in the whole game. They're always useful. People who become Mylarai want to drastically increase their mineral output. Over time you can make a killing with credits as Mylarai. Besides, why should THEY get something unique? I think they're fine the way they are, just like all the other races.
